List of Intermountain Healthcare's Reviews
My son and I started our allergy short about a month ago. We clustered our first shots so they recommended we start at the Salt Lake Clinic and transfer to the Sandy Clinic (close to our house) after. I had a difficult time getting ahold of the nurse, then they couldn’t find our vials and blamed the Salt Lake Clinic for it. Turns out someone put them in the wrong fridge. I had a reaction to one of my cluster shots, which Salt Lake Clinic easily managed, but the doctor at Alta View refused to transfer us to her clinic unless I began again four doses behind where I was. Four shots is big money and time sink. After finally tracking down our vials they informed me that their hours where less than what they had posted. This isn’t a huge deal but it’s hard to plan when you can’t be sure about when they’re open. Finally I threw my hands up in frustration and had then transfer our vials back to the Salt Lake Clinic. It’s a 25 minute drive compared to a 5 minute one but totally worth it, the Alta View Allergy Clinic has just been terrible to work with and seem to have a difficult time with accountability. Also, the nurse was really rude.My son and I started our allergy short about a month ago. I previously saw the retired allergist 11 years ago, but we moved back to the area and I needed an allergist. I found out he had retired and scheduled with Dr. Willits. Having not been to the area in awhile, I did not realize they are in a NEW building surrounded by construction. I ended up arriving late (entrances have changed) and they still squeezed me in. The front desk was helpful and efficient. Dr. Willits was wonderful! She was patient, attentive, and helped me brainstorm and problem solve. I suffer from EVERY seasonal allergy and environmental animal allergies (my husband is a vet. . . LOL!). We discussed immunotherapy shots (she was upfront about the costs). I have done them previously and had some success. She also refilled and prescribed some basic medications I will continue with. We had plenty of time, she was knowledgable, and she listened emphatically. On hold for over an hour now just to speak to a nurse about immunology treatment. Unacceptable

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
