I moved to Sandy earlier this year and was already about 10 weeks pregnant at the time. Dr. Later came highly recommended by family members so I set up an appointment with him. His staff is so friendly and they always make me feel like they’ve known me forever I have military insurance and his insurance coordinator jumps through all of their hoops and works so hard to get everything covered for me She will call me and explain exactly what I need to do to get my insurance to cover procedures this time a csec and a tubal ligationDr. Later met with my husband and I for our first appointment and addressed all of our concerns I personally love that our first time meeting him was in his office it felt very professional and took the uncomfortable and vulnerable feeling out of the appointmentI am 38 weeks pregnant now and couldn’t be happier with my experience He is always running on time and I never have to sit and wait in the patient room or the waiting room which is a huge change from my previous OB who would leave me in the waiting room and then the patient room for at least an hour each time He is so great at going over everything that is normal to experience at every appointment and he will address things before they even happen This is nice for me because then when I have a random numb quad while at the zoo over the weekend I remember “oh Dr. Later already explained this would happen” and I don’t have to panic at every symptomI have only been a patient for about 78 months now but I would highly recommend Dr. Later and his staff to any of my friends

I was so nervous going to a new doctor. Dr. Later and his staff were very efficient at putting me at ease. I liked that Dr. Later had a consultation with me in his office prior to my exam. He was very kind and professional as was the staff. I’m very happy with my choice I found an excellent doctor.

Dr. Later is the best doctor i met ever he is a good listening and big experience. The staff also are so nice and friendly.

Dr. Later is definitely not the kind who willsit and chat with you about irrelevant small talks and what you have in your hospital bag.... is he a great doctor? Absolutely He is a top notch obgyn who will focus on specifics of the visit and make sure you and a baby is getting the best care possible. If you are looking for someone who knows what he is doing without talking about it he is definitely your choice otherwise probably you are in a wrong clinic.In regards to the ultrasound technician she was definitely good at the process however needs a breakdown of what to say and not to say during the visit. Due to some remarks Me and my husband were thrown into a shock and back in a span of 15 min. At the end of the day everything was normal thank God however this situation was easily avoidable.Overall I would highly recommend this office. Staff is courteous and friendly. The atmosphere in the office is always pleasant and welcoming.

I’ve never really been a patient before but my experience here was bad enough to make me want to find a new doctor. The first visit with Dr. Later was fine but then after that I never got educated on anything besides getting told to get the flu shot and getting told what my weight gain was. If I did ask a question he only made time for one and then said goodbye. For a first time mom I was expecting more education since I don’t know a ton about pregnancy. During my 20 week ultrasound I was not told to drink water or if I was I was not reminded beforehand. When I showed up the ultrasound tech took a few pictures and then told me to wait in the waiting room. After someone else’s scan she checked on me again and then told me my bladder still wasn’t full enough and told me to leave quickly so she could scan someone else. She kept complaining about how far behind she was and made me feel like such a number. Since this is my first I had been looking forward to finding out the gender but it was all ruined when I was treated like just another number and I ended up leaving the office in tears. I am going to cancel my next appointment and never use this office again. For being such an experienced OB I would have expected better education from Dr Later and for being an experienced tech I would have expected a better ultrasound experience. The only strength of this clinic is short wait times.

Dr. Later is one if those doctors I will never forget. He literally saved my and my baby’s life. I had a bit of a complicated pregnancy gestational diabetes. Dr Later kept on top of my sugar levels. On the delivery date I had to have an emergency c section which also got complicated with hemorrhage. If He didn’t catch it I would have definitely never be able to recover. Dr. Later is a pro in his career. Highly recommend

I have been seeing Dr. Later for 27 years. He is very easy to talk with and he explains things in language I can understand.

I have been going to Dr. Later for 20 years. He always has time to answer your questions and does a great job explaining what he is doing during procedures which helps put me at ease. He’s a great doctor and his staff is friendly and helpful when you need an appointment. I highly recommend.
