MIles Layton's Online Review Report Card

Won't be back. Doesn't listen to issues. Doesn't listen when you say medicine isn't working. Reissues the same meds even though I told him they weren't working.

Went to him cause I was having issues with my arms and I couldn't get into see the other doctor. He gave me an anti-inflammatory and wanted me to schedule a routine visit since it has been a year since I saw one of the doctors in the office. Went and saw him for that and told him the anti-inflammatory wasn't working. He did a bunch of blood work at the routine visit and didn't even address the issue I am really worried about. I had a follow up with him a week later when he went over my results and told him again the that I can't even sleep with the pain I am in and the meds he gave me wasn't working. I requested a new anti-inflammatory and he prescribe one for me. It was the same meds he did before. Have contacted his office and he will not help unless i go in again.

Just had my first visit with Dr Layton and I felt heard. He took time to address my concerns and explain the treatment plan he would like to try. He seemed very knowledgeable and experienced. I really enjoy Dr Layton and his staff. I came to him as a new patient with a big demand, (firefighter physical) which is super extensive and required multiple visits and tests with him and other providers with a relatively short time frame to get my stuff done by. I was very pleased, not only with the customer service and professionalism in getting my physical done, but of other dialogue and care received while there. Great dr, I highly recommend. I started going to Dr. Layton a couple of years ago when my previous doctor retired. I'm grateful to have found another good one in Dr. Layton. 5 star Recommendation.

Dr. Layton has been great with my family. Yesterday he personally called after our appointment, when we left to soon.. ooops I’ve had sinus issues my whole life he’s the first doctor I’ve seen that doesn’t just throw antibiotics at you. Dr. Layton is kind and compassionate! And knows his stuff!

I highly recommend Dr. Layton. I am a particularly difficult patient with multiple conditions that are not easy to treat. Never once did I feel rushed or discouraged from coming in. Dr Layton listen to my concerns and offered multiple treatment options and allowed me to choose the option I preferred.

My husband I were looking for a new family doctor after moving to Saratoga; after reading Google reviews I’d hoped to have found a good one. I’ve been scheduling my appointments with your office in Saratoga with Miles Layton. My first experience with his office was excessive wait times and unorganized staff. I had my Pap-smear done at the first visit and the nurse was EXTREMELY unprofessional when entering the room (without knocking) as I was completely naked! She left the door open and I had to ask her to close it! No apologies mind you. I sent an email regarding this indecent and received no response. However the doctor Miles Layton is professional and I enjoyed my interaction with him. Next visit consist of me getting my Rx filled. That visit was ok but again a very long wait times.As I waited in the lobby the billing/patient call back was being done by the receptionists; they were giving out very personal information of diagnosis and follow up needed. It made me very uncomfortable knowing this is how the office was ran. I felt having those sorts of conversations should have been done in a closed door setting. Three visits in I’m getting my Rx filled again. This particular Rx is a something I needed follow up with. They did not give me the proper response or attention needed. I called the office 3 times asking for the doctor to have them signed so I could come pick them up at the office. Never once did I get a call back (after promising they would) After not getting a call back I went into the office and explained the situation to a lovely lady that took care of the billing. She was very professional and took care of my needs right away. However when I came into the office a few days later to pick up the Rx the young receptionist was very rude and disrespectful in her response to my questions regarding only getting part of the Rx I wanted. She implied that I was abusing this Rx and said it loudly enough for all the people in the waiting room to hear. I told her how inappropriate I thought she was and she apologize. Now I’m having an issue with my husbands billing through this office and didn’t receive the customer service I would expect from a “professional” doctors office. At this point in time I have no interest in continuing my services with your doctors office. I will take my business elsewhere. I honestly don’t even expect a response to my complaints either. Won’t help me out of pain that is documented and obvious (carpal structural damage of triquetral & pisaform) - I have pleaded for help and am losing my grip on how to handle it; it’s so achy and stings at times, my pain is getting worse due to use and weather and I still can’t get a pain medication. I feel as if I’m being treated as a drug seeker and if I have been labeled in such a way then it is entirely misjudged. I have never abused opiates and besides physical therapy constantly leading to surgery I have no option for relief besides a painkiller HE WONT HELP ME WITH. I’m finding a doctor that will help me. I can’t live with this misery anymore and Layton will not help. So my review is 1 star for mistreatment; I’m in real pain and have been waiting for this office and Layton to help for months.
