WORST DOCTOR EVER. Worst bedside manner. Speaks over you. Doesn’t listen. Doesn’t care about patients feelings. I can’t even express the feelings I have for this guy. My poor sister left in bawling.
If you're expecting a doctor with a good bedside manner, look elsewhere cuz it's not Dr. Benham. He talks fast and he doesn't seem to be concerned with your overall health. I had a prolapse which I was told from my doctor that I needed a hysterectomy. After the surgery is done I was in a lot of pain. Luckily I was able to stay overnight at the hospital but the next morning when Dr. Benham came in to see me. What he said to me was I sent you home after the surgery. Why did you stay the night?. He was rude. It's a good thing I did because I was having complications. Now most likely my bladder has to be reattached and I have to go back for a second surgery that should have been done first surgery. I do not recommend Dr. Brady Benham.
I had a baby 1 1/2 weeks ago, my first baby. I ended up getting a bad fever and chills and ended up having a scary emergency room visit because of too low blood pressure. They found that I do have some soft of infection. They did End up letting me go without finding the cause to my infection as long as I promised to meet with my doctor Monday morning and was told by my doctor not to make an apt. to just show up so Monday came and I went in and was told to come back later. I came back at my scheduled time and my doctor was out so I got Benham. While waiting back in the room I heard him talk to the nurse asking if he really had to see me today and that I should’ve been put at the end of the day seeming annoyed he had to see me. So he did not want to fit me in and after waiting a while he talked to me and saw me for literally less than a minute and just said he thinks it’s mastitis even though the ER doctor told me it probably wasn’t mastitis. He didn’t even bother to look to check or anything and didn’t give me the time of day. I was supposed to have a ultrasound to see if they missed anything in my womb but he was not interested in seeing me at all. Completely unprofessional and I am glad he’s not my doctor and I hope he treats his actual patients so much better.
Not friendly. And was not willing to listen my concerns. Had to go see someone else just to get an antibiotic that I needed for a UTI. He told me that “some women alway think they have infections, when they actually don’t.” After going to someone that was willing to do a simple urine test it was confirmed that I had severe UTI.
love Dr Benham!! He made me feel very comfortable all 4 of my pregnancies. He actually talks to you and doesn't make you feel like you're just another patient. I would never ever consider seeing another doctor.
We love Dr. Benham! He has delivered our three children and will be delivering our one on the way. He has been such an amazing Doctor and we can’t thank him enough :)
Great dr! Answered all my questions and took care of me as if I was one of his own family members.
I had a laparoscopic procedure done with Dr. Benham. It was scheduled at 9:45. Nurses and the anesthesiologist told me at around 12:30 they had not been able to contact Dr. Benham and didn’t know where he was. After 1pm he showed up with no explanation as to why he was 4 hours late. Granted I had been fasting since the night before. By the time I got pulled into the preop room I was so dehydrated it took 2 nurses and 4 needles to finally find a vein that could handle an IV. After my procedure and finding nothing significant he basically told me all the pain I’ve been in for 10+ years is in my head and there is nothing further he can do.
I went to Dr. Benham with severe abdominal cramps and extreme nausea and vomiting, such that I was vomiting multiple times per day. He found an ovarian cyst and told me that due to my symptoms, it was likely an endometrioma (which is undiagnosable without surgery). He then proceeded to tell me I’d probably never be able to have kids and PRINTED the consent form for him to take my ovary DURING that same visit! Luckily, I didn’t sign it. I went home, researched, and found out that removing the ovary was the procedure for endo 20 years ago. I found a new doc who excised the endometriosis (confirmed) and removed the cyst. 6 moths later, I’m doing much better and with excision as opposed to oophorectomy, my chances of conceiving are unaltered. I then saw where MULTIPLE women had complaints about Dr. Benham’s suggestion of an unnecessary oophorectomy. Would not recommend.
The worst doctor and person ever! He did my hysterectomy and after going home I was in severe pain on my lower right side two days later. I called and spoke to him he told me this was normal, even though I was urinating all over myself. The pain got worse so I went to the ER in the emergency room doctor told me I had an infection on my lower right abdomen area, he said the doctor that did my surgery would need to come in and take care of me. After many attempts to get the doctor to come over and insisting that he would need to see me at The emergency room doctor’s request. This doctor finally showed up and tried to play it off as he didn’t do anything wrong and was no help. I had to end up seeing a urologist, and having stents placed in my kidneys. What was going to be a four week off of work ended up being one year with many other surgeries to do repairs that were made in my first surgery of hysterectomy. It was a total nightmare and I still four years later I am suffering with kidney issues. This doctor took no responsibility, had no concern about me and my medical issues, or the time I missed off of work, or the bills that racked up from being in and out of the hospital and having four different surgeries. It was a life changing experience of nightmares after nightmares!!!!!!!!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
