Have been a patient of Dr. Slade for nearly 14 years. He soon performed the latest surgical techniques to drastically slow the progression of my glaucoma and has cared for me to the present.

Although he is an excellent doctor, after awhile he won't see you personally anymore, you will see his NP. She is very capable and kind. But I haven't seen him for maybe 3 years now. It's just somehow not so nice that one's doctor is no longer interested in interacting with his patient. There are far too many patients and way too much commotion, crammed full waiting room. Wait for going on 2 hours in waiting room and exam room.

Who cares if you have to wait--it means Dr. Slade is listening to and caring for his patients! I never have a problem from a Dr that I have to wait a long time for in the waiting room. I have more that 65 years of experience with such Doctors. You should be very glad to have them!!!

It is my great pleasure to highly recommend Dr Slade and his wonderful staff. He is a brilliant and very talented surgeon, and cares deeply about provinding the best care for his patients. He has assembled a wonderful team of assistants and office staff which reflects on the high level of excellence that he provides. Dr. Slade recently treated me for a serious and complicated condition that severely affected my eyesight. Treatment involved surgeries referrals and time consuming diagnosis. He showed great concern and caring and spent the effort to go the extra mile for me. My eyesight has returned to a point nearly normal , which at one point I didn't think would be possible. I would certainly recommend him to anybody in need of a knowledgeable and caring physician.

If you are looking for a highly trained, phenomenal surgeon, this is your guy! If you have to wait an hour, wait an hour! He's constantly fixing other surgeons mistakes when it comes to glaucoma. He's well worth the wait!
