Best OB ever, he was my Dr for 3 of my babies.

THE BEST place to go for infertility!! Dr McCarter does free ultrasound checks to see if you're ovulating and suuuper cheap IUIs. I seriously cried from happiness when I found him. It was a long wait to get in, but worth it!! I wasted my time with other drs before going to his office because the intial wait for an appt was long. But nobody else cared about helping my husband and I get pregnant like he did. none of the other offices could tell me how much anything would cost. Dr McCarters office starts with a plan and a cost sheet from the first appt and its soo inexpensive! I couldn't recommend him more for infertility help - seriously! The rest of the maternity care was alright. He is quite chill and for me it's a bit too laid back. I didn't always feel like my concerns were being addressed as thoroughly as I’d like. But that’s more of a personality thing. I had a beautiful healthy perfect baby boy! Dr. McCarter has also done a really good job of stitching things up afterwards, which I really appreciate! I wish all drs did as good of a job there as he does.

The staff was kind and helpful and my experiences in the office were always reasonable, but Dr. McCarter pressured me greatly toward delivery to schedule an induction and swept my membranes without my consent at 38 weeks sending me into labor 10 days early. He ended up not making it to the birth or delivering the baby. I would not recommend as I do not trust him.

Dr. McCarter is pure heaven. Every time I walked in to his office with pregnancy anxiety, I would walk out feeling completely at ease. He is kind, compassionate, but also honest and blunt when you need him to be. I recommend him to every single woman I know because he really is that good!

Dr. McCarter performed my fibroid removal surgery, provided my fertility treatments, and will be delivering my first baby in July. I don't have enough good things to say about him. He's so positive and upbeat with an excellent bedside manor. He's never pushy or rude about any of my concerns or questions. Just incredibly sweet and open minded. He's not one of those nightmare doctors you read about on social media, he's extremely respectful and puts mothers' decisions first. I have zero anxiety about the birthing plan & feel so lucky to have him as my doctor.

(Long Post) Dr. McCarter was my OB throughout my whole pregnancy and delivered my daughter who is 4 now safely. He made sure to make me feel comfortable and listened to all my questions. As a first time mom I felt like all my questions were dumb, but he told me “No question is ever dumb, when it comes to your babies health” and that made me really happy. I knew this Dr. Was going to give me quality care and HE DID! Very professional and great judgment. I will always go back to him for OB/GYN. My sister had a baby delivered by a different OB and had postpartum complications, luckily Dr. McCarter was the OB on call at the hospital E.R and automatically I knew she was going to be okay. Thanks to his judgment we found the problem that was being neglected from my sisters Dr. From these days on I will always recommend my family and friends to him. Thank you!

I absolutely love this office! I’ve had a terrible experience in the past with an OBGYN office and once I found this office it totally changed my life. Although I’ve only been in once, I have called multiple times for questions I’ve had and they have always been so nice, even on the phone. They definitely care about each patients individual needs and it definitely shows!

Dr. McCarter is AMAZING! After 2 years of unidentified pain, and another 6 months of getting the apathetic runaround by another physician, I finally found Dr. McCarter and I was immediately relieved after our first consult. Not only did he recognize the importance behind why I needed treatment but he also validated my discomfort and showed compassion. I am so happy to put that nightmare behind me now, and I will forever be grateful to Dr. McCarter and his amazing staff for all their help! HIGHLY recommend!

Great doctor, but good luck talking to the nurse.

I have been a patient of Dr. McCarter's for over eight years. Due to several extremely negative experiences with my last delivery I will be looking for a new OBGYN. I waited in labor for over 8 hours for Dr. McCarter. My nurses called him twice to encourage him to come to the hospital. He shared that he would be there by a certain time and 3 hours after that time he came. After he came, he was in such a rush to return to his clinic to meet with more patients that he did not wait for the respiratory team to be there for the delivery. My son was born so quickly that he had lots of fluid in his lungs. He ended up with several health concerns related to his delivery. It was extremely stressful and painful to have my labor and delivery unnecessarily prolonged. During this last pregnancy, I felt a significant lack of care or concern from Dr. McCarter for my health and for the health of my baby.
