Kory Harward's Online Review Report Card

I went to Dr. Harward for 3 babies. I thought our relationship was great! My last baby I accidentally had at home. I am an hour from orem. Which he knew. I drove an hour weekly just to see him. Fortunately a local midwife was able to rush to my aide and help me deliver. I later received a call from Harwards nurse that he no longer wanted to see me and canceled my future appointments hearing that I had the baby at home. I guess his ego was hurt. I am appalled at how low and unprofessional that was. Just ditch a new mom because it didn’t go the way he planned?? He put me in a very hard position of having to try to find a new obgyn for all my postpartum needs and medicines days after having a baby. So inconvenient and inconsiderate. I didn’t think he was this type of person I always really liked him, but putting a new vulnerable mom in this position is pathetic to me. I assumed he would want to know the story how it all happened. Nope. Just a slap to the face of don’t come back. Thanks, real big of you.

I visited Dr.Harward recently with my second pregnancy( I was pregnant with twins) and came to find out my my babies had passed. It was such a devastating and emotional moment but Dr.Harward and his team did everything to try and ease my pain during an unfortunate circumstance. He showed so much compassion and just genuine care for me and it honestly meant the world to me. If I wouldn’t of had such an amazing OB at that time I don’t think my recovery would of gone as smoothly as it has. I recommend Dr.Harward to anyone looking for an Doctor that really listens and cares about his patients!

I absolutely would not recommend this office. It’s very poorly run.

I’ve had two of my three babies with Dr Harward. I went in today to visit with my fourth pregnancy. I couldn’t feel more confident and at ease that Dr. Harward will be taking care of me and my baby. I’ve had some complications with each pregnancy and he takes every precaution, gives you the needed information and his advice then lets you decide what is best for you. I trust him and am glad I listened to his advice. I wish I would’ve been able to have every baby with Dr. Harward. He really is the best of the best at what he does.

I had my first baby in 2017, I went in for my first appointment with the OB I made an appointment with. I wasn't a fan, and I asked if there was another doctor. I was given the choice between Dr. Harward and another one. I chose Dr. Harward and I am so glad. I had an amazing experience the whole pregnancy. When I went into labor, I wasn't dilating, so Dr. Harward let me and my husband know that we would have to do a c-section, I was nervous because it wasn't what I had in mind. The whole process couldn't have gone more smoothly, I healed amazingly well and just was so thankful to have had such a patient and caring doctor the whole time. My husband and I both knew that we would go back to Dr. Harward for our next child. We did and we are so glad, we had our last baby this year and again, I have healed amazingly well and just had the best experience with Dr. Harward and his staff. I recommend him to everyone I know.

I have adored having Dr. Harward as my obgyn. He is very nice and to the point. He makes sure to inform you of everything and keep you involved in his thoughts. He is very confident in his job, which I love. I have no questions that he will take care of me and my baby. When I went into the hospital I was dialated pretty far and Dr. Harward was there within minutes making sure I had all the care and support I needed to be comfortable. He really made me feel like the priority. He has checked on me every day and always comes in happy to see me. I would recommend him to anyone. *As a small side note: his office staff is really lacking. His reception and his nurses don't seem to communicate and getting ahold of a nurse is near impossible. If Dr. Harward wasn't so amazing I would have found a new OB simply because of his staff. But he has definitely been worth my annoyance with them.

I couldn't ask for a better doctor. He came highly recommend after I got pregnant through a fertility clinic. He then became my obgyn and he made sure all my concern and question were answered. I never felt rushed at any of my appointments. He delivered my baby by c-section and he was amazing my c-section scar from his incision after two years almost completely went away. I then went to him for my second son he preformed my second c-section, removed a cyst while he was in there and tied my tubes. Even though I it was horrible having done. after all that he constantly made sure I wasbin the best of hands even if he couldn't be there. After I recovered he noticed I had more cyst and instead of jumping to surgery like some doctor's do he wanted to keep a close eye on them. I like how professional he is, how he actually cares for his patients and makes sure all our concerns are answered. I see why the infertility clinic highly recommend him, and now I will highly recommend him to others.

Dr. Harward is amazing! He is very attentive and has great bedside manners. He takes time to explain and answer questions and he really takes care of you. He makes sure the mom is well taken care of after delivery and he doesn't sugar coat problems that need to be discussed. I highly recommend him and I will definitely be going to him for my next pregnancy!

In preparing for the birth of our next child, my wife has related many instances during the birth of our child that Dr. Harward over saw that have prompted me to write this review. Dr. Harward was the DO on call since our normal DO was at another birth. His bedside manner was atrocious. He did not inquire if we had a birth plan. He was flippant and impatient during the entire birth. My wife was progressing extremely well naturally (she was at an 8 when we arrived to the hospital) and he just assumed that she wanted interventions like manually breaking her water( which broke within seconds of mentioning it) or an epidural (which there wasn't time for anyway). He did not seem to assess the situation or coordinate with us the direction we wanted to proceed. He had a very arrogant and assuming air to his demeanor. This was apparent while my wife was laboring on the bed. She was on her knees facing the bed rather than in a position that the doctor prefered and the doctor very loudly asked if he was going to deliver like that. It wasn't about my wife and child. It was about the doctor being comfortable. In stitching, he was very inconsiderate in sewing some tearing. My wife did not have an epidural and could feel everything because the doctor did not wait for the numbing gel to take effect. My wife had some relief but then could start feeling it again and she could literally see the impatience exhibited by this doctor when she requested more relief. I will not recommend Dr. Harward to anyone. There are better doctors who treat their patients with respect. I feel we were lucky to have had a natural birth as the impression from the beginning was intervention and doctor centric. I recognize that we have biases so everyone can take this with a grain of salt. The hospital and nurses were great, but the doctor left such a distasteful impression that we wouldn't go back to this DO. I will say again the nurses were fantastic and supportive and demonstrated a patient centric focus. They were great!

Dr. Harward has delivered both my children and I cannot day enough about how wonderful he and his office staff are. I have had him personally call me after hours when I had a concern, he genuinely cares about his patients. He has never been pushy and has helped me have all the information to make the necessary decisions regarding my deliveries. I would recommend him to anyone!
