Spencer Colby's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Colby is amazing! He has delivered all three of my babies and always makes sure I am taken care of during and after delivery. His staff is great and Judy is always there to answer any of my questions when Dr. Colby is out of the office! Highly recommend!

When I found out I was pregnant I needed a new doctor. Dr. Colby was able to see me promptly and gave me the information I needed during pregnancy. Very understanding and patient with me. Had a swift and easy delivery and recovery. Plan to keep him as my OBGYN.

Update: went to another GYN and turns out I have Lichen Sclerosus. Which can cause a lot of issues if left untreated so glad I sought a second opinion So let me start by saying I wish I could give this man no stars because he doesn’t deserve a single star. Anyways my experience was that I needed to see an Gynecologist because I was having vaginal irritation and clear discharge for about a month and a half. My regular doctor ruled out BV and a yeast infection but wasn’t sure what it could be and suggested I see a gynecologist. So after I did a google search and did some research I found Dr. Colby. I went in with high hopes because he had many good reviews reviews however when I got to see him, he didn’t really ask me in detail what symptoms were and just jumped into the exam. I did tell him it wasn’t BV or a yeast infection. He didn’t make me feel comfortable during my exam and he didn’t lube the speculum enough so that was painful. After the exam I asked him what further steps he would take if the swab results were negative, as I knew it would be because my doctor ran the same test before and the results were negative he then proceeds to tell me if those results were negative that this irritation and pain I have been having would be and I quote “my new normal”. I suggested that maybe my estrogen was and he said nope it wasn’t and just shut me down about any other questions I had. I was so shocked and thought to myself I am not sure what medical school this man attended that taught him that it is okay for him to leave a patient in constant irritation and pain. Also my swab results are negative and he will take no further steps to help me. I wouldn’t recommend this man as a gynecologist to anyone. He doesn’t listen, he won’t take your concerns or questions seriously, he will not make you feel comfortable, he has no empathy or sympathy for you and he’s so arrogant. He might be a good OB but he’s a horrible gynecologist. Overall he seems like an old man stuck in his old ways of doing things. Needless to say I will be seeking a second opinion because I don’t have to live this way.

Dr Colby took great care of me and my baby! I enjoyed his calm persona and appreciated that he was always able to answer any questions we had and didn’t overload us with extra information that wasn’t needed. We will be going back to Dr. Colby for any spoon left future children and for regular women’s health check ups.

Dr. Colby took great care of me and my baby. He was able to answer any questions that I had throughout my pregnancy. And when complications came about he was available and my baby was able to be delivered safely.

I have struggled with infertility for years after getting pregnant with twins through IVF I continued my pregnancy care with Dr. Colby and it was the best decision we made. Dr. Colby is kind, friendly and kept me calm throughout my 38 weeks. I had to have a c section due to twin A being breached. Dr Colby did such a great job with my incision, he did it low to prevent scaring and I love it cuz if I wear a bikini you can't see it 😉. My twins were out in minutes and are super healthy. Thank you Dr Colby and team for all your help.

I saw doctor Colby at 37 weeks and 3 days. Why so late? My original OBGYN I saw left me worried with more news about my baby rather than taking my questions or concerns seriously. I wanted and a second opinion and started google searching providers and reading through reviews when I came across doctor Colby. I immediately called and was able to get seen the next day! To which I asked all my questions and expressed my concerns and he was super quick to hop on an ultrasound and confirm that my baby looked great (such a relief to hear after weeks or constant bad news) and did confirm that I did indeed have high fluids. He expressed his concerns with having high fluid and RECOMMENDED an induction. He did not push it on me at all and asked how I felt about it. And honestly after horrible contractions/ Braxton Hicks and just wanting to make sure my baby was fine, I agreed I felt most comfortable doing the induction. Almost two weeks later he delivered my baby boy and he came out healthy just like doctor Colby said he would, the tears flooded through. (I also liked that he did a stress test two days before delivery to ensure baby was doing great!) today I went in two weeks post partum and was excited to be greeted by a smiling face! Everything went well and he answered all questions with great knowledge. Even just the four short weeks I’ve seen him, I’m incredibly grateful that I did and chose to get his opinion. I’m leaving this review not because he asked but because I wanted to! Thank you doctor Colby for answering my questions and not taking my concerns lightly. Truly was an amazing experience having my first ever male OBGYN try and understand all of my concerns! Little picture of my new guy!

I had the privilege of having Dr. Spencer Colby for all of my OBGYN needs, from getting birth control placed then 3 Years later removed and all routine check ups in between. I then had Dr. Colby throughout my entire pregnancy. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable and always addressed my questions and concerns. We had a seamless delivery at Jordan Valley Medical Center. I will continue to make Dr. Colby my go to for any women's health needs.

Dr Spencer Colby was the best Obgyn I could have asked for for my pregnancy. I was super scared when I found out I was pregnant being a type 1 diabetic but Dr. Colby always made me feel welcome and had amazing advice for all things to do with my pregnancy. Ended up having to have a c section delivery and Dr. Colby did an absolutely amazing job with the delivery and aftercare. Would definitely recommend him!
