Out of 3 physicians Dr. Whitman was the only one to listen to my 6 month struggles with LongCovid and to offer me treatment that allowed me to feel I could recover. She understood my bodys abnormal response even as I started talking. So insightful and knowledgeable What a blessing to have her as my physician. I feel as if I am getting my life back.

Several bad experiences there. Called ahead was going to be late they said it was fine as long as there within the 15 min window. Receptionist said youre five minutes late thats a no show. I asked what that meant and she said were not going to see you today. I explained the call ahead and them saying it was ok and she didnt want to hear it. They created a big scene over their own error.

I have a rare condition that not many doctors in the area know very much about and they let you know that so there isnt a lot of confidence that I will be helped. Ive even been sent to specialists at Wake Forest that did t know what to do to help. My first visit with Dr. Whitman has built a confidence that I have found someone that will actually be able to help me that I have never had before. She knew about my condition before I had to educate her which I unfortunately have to do with nearly every other doctor I have ever seen. Her confidence in her ability her knowledge of my condition her care in taking the time to find the right combination of medicines that was right for me and her willingness to allow other doctors and nurses to come in to see my condition so she could educate them on this rare condition is exactly what I have been looking for. If there is any help to be had for me Dr. Whitman will be the one that will get it for me A true Godsend for my family
