The place is conveniently located. Front staff very friendly and organized. The doctor did a thorough examination and requested tests to be done. He discussed all test results in detail and made recommendations/prescriptions as needed. The doctor took the time necessary to discuss all of my health questions.

This by far was the best service I ever received from a medical institution. The staff were well knowledgeable and very courteous. The rate of medical attention provided by the nurse and doctor went above and beyond to not only meet my needs but to address all my concerns.

I do recommend this office for patients, the Stapp are nice and welcoming, Dr Akeza Teame is superb, kind, active listener,, and professional. Great place to go to.

I have had a wonderful experience with the staff at Abyssinia. The MA was an absolute sweetheart. My veins were a little hard to find but she was still able to make the process as painless as possible for blood drawing. The front desk is as charming and as diligent as the Doctor himself! They took a lot of precautions to make sure I was taken care of and I have no doubt that diligence doesn’t end with me. The office is predominantly foreigners which is only worth mentioning because I never felt like I was being misunderstood or misinterpreted (something that is obviously important at a doctors office). And they are always clear and concise with the way they relay information. I admire the efficiency. The only downside would be limited hours but as I was informed it was due to the Doctor having his own emergencies, that’s extremely minor compared to the care I receive from here.

Dr. Teame and his staff are friendly and efficient. The doctor went the extra mile with me, personally calling another doc on my behalf to explain my situation. Highly recommend!

This is a wonderful practice. Th office is new, spacious and has a great design. As expected, Dr Akaze was wonderful, professional and took his time examining my mother. Test results came back the next day and Dr Akaze took his time to review the results. The nurses are very friendly. The other office staff and Dr Akaze’s wife who oversees the practice were amazing, responsive and eager to deliver great care. Dr Akaze is licensed in the US and Addis. Prescriptions for patients who live in Addis can be accommodated via telemedicine. Overall, this is an amazing practice and will be our go to place for COVID-19 testing for travels as well.
