List of Adeline C Viyuoh Md's Reviews
Not helpful whatsoever. I've been going to Dr. Viyuoh for 3 years using her as a primary care physician. She knows all of my medical history and information. I needed help with paperwork regarding disability and she refused to fill it out or provide a solution to how to get the information completed. She offers no help or little effort.
Does not listen. Looks at computer rather than patient. Avoid
Dr Viyuoh is polite, but is unfortunately very impatient. She talked over me and sighed as I talked about my concerns. She dismissed my symptoms and was obviously in a rush to get to the next patient because the office was running behind. My first visit was my last visit. Do not recommend.
Visited Dr. Viyouh with ongoing back problems. Found her to be very patient, good listener and very thorough with her questions. Requested I have x-rays and CT scans to obtain more information. Will be seeing her for follow up. Very personable with good chairside manner. Not pushy and willing to work with me in a collaborative manner to manage my health instead of dictating.
This would be a zero if it was an option. I was never asked to undress or even raise my shirt during my physical exam. I am over 50 and besides my ears, my throat and listening to my abdomen there was no actual physical exam. There was no neck exam (I was wearing a turtleneck sweater!), no carotid arteries, no thyroid exam; no check for palpable nodes/masses. My heart and lungs were not listened to. My lower extremities were never looked at or examined for edema, pulses. Imagine my surprise when I reviewed my clinic note from the day and found a very detailed and comprehensive physical exam that never happened. I am disappointed because I waited several years before scheduling this appointment and only chose this doctor when the doctor I wanted to see was not accepting new patients. If the insurance company knew what was being billed versus what was actually being done, there be more to worry about than a dissatisfied patient. I can only presume this is her standard operating procedure and pray that my labs are normal because I will not be going back for any follow-up with her; there has been no trust established here. So very disappointed. I took time out of my work day for this. I had a more thorough history review and exam with a travel nurse for my life insurance application last month.
I could tell she was not pleased with my previous prescriptions. She said I needed a psychiatrist (even though I've been doing well) and a drug test. I gave a blood test and when I was leaving, they called me back and said sorry, it was supposed to be a urine drug test. Didn't ask to test my levels for thyroid hormones, which every other doctor usually does. Left feeling judged. She gave me a 1 month supply for select prescriptions and 3 month for the others that passed her judgement. I guess she forgot that the thyroid directly affects mental health.
Not the best.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
