List of All Pediatrics Of Alexandria's Reviews
Linda has seen all 5 of my children over approximately 30+ years. She is a caring, sincere, knowledgeable and professional asset to ALL Pediactrics.
Extremely disappointed with the experience. The staff were unhelpful and appeared incompetent, which is unacceptable in a medical setting, especially one caring for children.
My son is 18 and he has been going to All Peds since he was born never had any issues ever i recommend 100% great office and ran very well!!!
ALEXANDRIA LOCATION: Look elsewhere for care regarding your little ones. Had two separate lack luster experiences coming here and will not be returning. They have SO many policies and an expense for EVERYTHING. It’s so much white tape, you’re bound to get tripped up. Nurses with bad attitudes and should work with adults rather than with children. Transferred from a lovely practice in MD and they gave this practice my paperwork 4 weeks ahead of her appointment. The day of the visit, the DR comes in and asked me if my child had one of her shots. I asked if she had reviewed the paperwork from the previous DR office and she said she had not. She was cold and blunt - not pediatric friendly. I could honestly tell she didn’t care about my daughter. She didn’t even try to hide her lack there of. Overall experience 1/10.
Dr Hestvik was a great pediatrician. Sadly the administrative side of AllPeds changed for the worse - rigid, impersonal, lacking in courtesy. You now have to agree to keep a card on file that can be charged automatically for whatever they bill, or they will drop you from the practice (no matter how long your kid has gone there). They now categorically refuse to send any medical bills or communications by mail, only to their online Patient Portal they require you to use. If you don't remember your password you can't reset it online you have to call their office. They charged a $100 no-show fee for an appointment we don’t remember making and never received any bill for - maybe just a non-descript "New message from All Peds" email requiring login to their Patient Portal to see what it's about - heard about it 4 months after the alleged no-show date directly from a collections agency they referred it to.
Even after moving out of the county I prefer to still travel to Alexandria office. The medical professionals at this office have cemented my loyalty for as long as my children need a pediatrician. 10/10
Location, parking available, building accessibility, reception personnel, office client considerations, exceptional medical personnel (Dr. Peng is amazing), and overall how comfortable my 2 year is for a doctor's office visit. For arrival to departure the experience was welcoming, professional, and refreshing.
I’m going to keep it real and honest here: They are not the worst practice that exists. In fact, a few doctors are brilliant in their job. (Dr. Peng and Dr. Park, I’m looking at you two!! You both amazing!) Unfortunately, I can’t hold everyone in the same regard. I’m pretty understanding, and I wouldn’t go as far to say that they suck at their jobs. The reality was that my last visit there was with another doctor. Their treatment plan for me at the time was not the best at all. This was on the cusp of me turning eighteen. I was unable to receive any medication, and the issue led me to developing permanent asthma now due to getting no treatment. Ever since, every cold I get now develops into me having to take steroids. I’m on an inhaler, and I began constantly throwing up for months straight up until a few months ago. Now I have to attend a whole separate branch for Gastrointestinal issues. In addition, my family has a history of lung issues. For some reason they didn’t take this into account when treating me. I won’t say that my issues were caused by this doctor, but simply that the lack of treatment has led my immune system to weaken. I had to even go to ER last year for a stomach issue. I believe this was considered a severe respiratory virus, but one that caused me many complications to this day. I’m not saying this to incite fear, but unfortunately this was my experience with one doctor, who I feel didn’t listen to me. I know it’s a pediatrics office, but I still felt like I was being spoken before. TLDR; If your child has something other than a flu, cold, or cough that lasts a week only, this place isn’t the best to go to. Also, the fees make it complicated.
Doctors are okay but honestly their policies are made to racketeering you. They made me pay $80 dollar for school paperwork signature and another $35 because they charge $5 per page for doctor to sign a document already filled by the parent because my kid needs multiple medications so it’s one page by medication. I felt mugged truly. What kind of policy is this? This isn’t covered by insurance. Why do you need $80 for a 5 min doctor or nurse time. Do you realize that people are not made from money? And you just keep repeating its the policy isn’t going to get the pill down any easier. Making money in these sneaky ways isn’t honorable or ethical. So disgusting and disappointing
Dr. Peng is so incredibly knowledgeable and at the same time relatable and down to earth. She makes you feel so at ease and comfortable and we just feel so lucky that we found this practice and Dr. Peng!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
