List of Brian C Carty Md's Reviews
Visit with a family member. Dr. Carty took time to answer the patient's questions.
I had good experience with Dr. Carty. I would recommend him to others. He listens to my complaints. Explains the issues and his recommendations. I feel quite confident in him as a doctor and trust his advice. I'm a male, around 50 y.o. Dr. Carty's patient for about 5 years.
The experience with this doctor and with his office have been the ABSOLUTE WORST experience I’ve ever had with medical “professionals”...ever! I had to call several times almost a month after my appointment requesting my lab results, and the experience dealing with the unprofessional office staff was just unbelievable!!.. it’s just TOTAL poor management in this office, and there is never an office manager available to speak to, they always “take a message”. AS for this Dr... I just received a call from him at 9pm (*again almost 1 month after my appt) “informing me” of my results... 1. what “professional” calls patience at any hours of the night? 2. I received the results via email a few days prior to his call, with no report/sentence/greeting nothing.. just the attached results— which I then had to decipher myself. I will definitely be finding a truly professional physicians office, because this wasn’t it by any stretch The experience with this doctor and with his office have been the ABSOLUTE WORST experience I’ve ever had with medical “professionals”...ever! The former problems with rude office staff have improved dramatically in the past several years. Dr. Taylor seems to be the favorite with patients, but I also like Dr. Carty and Dr. Nelson. Dr. Garber was grumpy and unpleasant at one of my appointments, but she may have been having a bad day. My solution was just to always request one of the other three doctors, and the staff was always accommodating. I have seen them for care for the past 17 years, and would definitely recommend them. I have gone to him for years, I look forward to seeing him, and I appreciate how he has kept up with my medical progress through the years, so that I know he has a complete picture of my health. He's always friendly and positive and keeps my spirits up, as well as providing excellent medical care.
Dr. Carty is extremely unethical. During the time I was his patient, he recommended medicine for extreme anxiety. He told me that over the next few months, I would have to experiment with dosage to find the right nitch. He then told me that I was trying to get more drugs (I actually asked him to change the medication, not increase the dosage). After I confronted him, he stated that it was “patient responsibility to figure it out” and that his job was to only prescribe medicine. He was rude and extremely unprofessional in all aspects of his practice.
I have been a patient for many years and their have been no complaints from me.
Dr Carty is the best. He learns to whats you have to say. I highly recommend very much
Legal proceedings at this point. He’s EXTREMELY unprofessional, and this photo does not reflect his stature, by the way.
He's entirely unethical. One time, I went in to have stitches removed at the direction of the doctor that put them in. Dr. Carty saw me for five minutes, did nothing but tell me to come back in a few days, and charged me both office visits. Another time, I sought a (state mandated) prescription for physical therapy. Dr. Carty insisted I come to his office to get it. I asked for the medical necessity for the visit; he provided none and refused to prescribe physical therapy until I pay him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
