Real kind and thorough doctor he took care of me after an assault thank you

He took time to take care of me and he has a great heart and great listening ears.

Dr. Krieger was very helpful and came before the nurses even once when I pressed the call button. He also went above and beyond to help when the pharmacy didn’t have the medication order and called me back to make sure I got it. I found him and the nurses all very helpful and knowledgeable when I was in the ER.

After an expected wait at the ER of Alexandria Hospital, I saw the very professional Dr. Brian Krieger. He greeted me, immediately apologizing for the wait, something you expect in the ER. He coordinated with my cardiologist and gave me a detailed summary of the discussion. I left knowing exactly what to do regarding my health condition.

This doctor is probably the most combative, arrogant, insensitive and self absorbed doctor I have ever encountered. I because I have heart disease, i have been to the ER over 30 times in the past 4 years. Not only did he refuse to help me because I was asking questions he didn't appear to have answers to. (from the looks of it he's a new doctor) but he patient profiled me BIG time. I am beyond livid, hurt, disappointed, and discouraged. I was calm in talking to this doctor, brought notes of my condition, and he, instead of listening, TOLD me how I was feeling and at the end of the ER visit, i left with ZERO help from him because, from my perspective, he was annoyed that how dare a patient be their own advocate, be educated about their condition, ask me questions I don't know and can't explain. I went in for headaches due to severe sleep deprivation because i was starting a new medication. He ordered no blood work, no CTScans, nothing. I basically sat in a room with a gown on and basically felt berated as if I was impeding on his precious time. I was very calm with this man, there was absolutely no reason to refuse to help a patient and discharge them in the EXACT condition they came in with. I did not ask for pain killers (i can't take them) I needed an answer for the extreme migraines and sleep deprivation i was having for nearly 2 weeks. He is a young doctor and was being shadowed by two pretty women, i think one was a scribe and the other was a resident. So perhaps, EGO got the best of him when I wouldn't just shut up about my knowledge of my condition and allow him to misdiagnose me, and tell me incorrect information. This young man should not be working with people if he's going to run a power trip. There's so much more to the conversation we had but im not going into it. What was even more shocking to me, i must say, is that a MALE patient was next to me, and he was very helpful and nice to him, although this man was yelling and being aggressive. Misogyny has no place in the medical field.

Dr. Krieger took care of me in the ER after I broke my ankle. He was incredibly kind and personable and took a lot of time to go over the procedures they needed to perform as well as the drugs they would use. He was very attentive and made sure I was taken care of before putting me fully in the hands of the PA and the nurses.

I have a heart condition called Wolf Parkinson white which causes severe anxiety. I have had this condition since birth but found out about 5 years ago. Since then, i have been on heart medication and anti anxiety medication for under 2 years. I felt this doctor was demeaning, insensitive, misleading about my disorder (i know ALL about it) he was argumentative, but he was being shadowed by two pretty women, so as a young doc, maybe he didnt want to look bad.
