Dr. McAsey had a calming presence when I told him about my experience with my right knee surgery. He displayed compassion and described what he would do. He was very confident that things would go well, so I decided to proceed with the operation. Everything went well. Surgery was at 8:00 and I was going home at 12:45. I had little pain the first week and PT went well with little pain as well. I was amazed.

Dr. McAsey took the time to answer questions thoroughly and in lay terms. He and the staff at AO are kind and efficient. I had no problem obtaining/rescheduling appointments. The surgery was a success. The Force app was helpful.

Amazing experience during my appointment with Dr. McAsey. He and I had a very detailed discussion about my hip and his approach to evaluating and executing my hip replacement. He layed out a very detailed plan of what I would need to do in preparation and in recovery. He is very attentive, easy going and precise. He made me feel really comfortable about this major surgery and major change in my life. I look forward to a quality of life that is pain free. My experience with left hip replacement went very well. I went in for surgery at 8AM and was home at 1:30PM the same day. I followed the pre and post home therapy using the Force app and never missed a day. This is important for the surgery and post op recovery. Dr. McAsey and his staff answered my questions and concerns within the same day via the Force App messages. I was able to send photos of my incision as well. I was off the walker day 4 and off the cane day 12. It takes a 6 weeks to get to a point where I could get back to my elliptical exercise and distance walking. I highly recommend Dr. McAsey, and be sure to follow all his instructions.

Dr. McAsey replaced my right hip a couple years ago after a lot of trauma had been done to it from an injury. He was just amazing! The hip replacement was such a relief for me and I appreciate him so very much. A few months later, he replaced my left knee. I only needed a minimal PT for it. I think Dr. McAsey is a superb surgeon and I wouldn't think twice about going back to him in the future for help.
