Sorry doctor! Unprofessional! Go somewhere else if you want neurological treatment. Treats invisible illness, rare diseases patients like crazy. We are not crazy been poisoned by food, water, environment. FDA has let this happen and Doctors are just calling us crazy to cover for the government. No research and treatment for other illnesses are used on us. Adding pills more chemicals is just making us more sick! Never been to a Doctor so uncaring. ??????????????????????
Dr. Larrivierre is not only very knowledgeable and competent but is also caring.
Stay away, worst neurologist EVER that I have met. Cold, condescending attitude, poor bedside manners. There are a lot of other neurologists in the city and I would not mind waiting for months for an appointment, just not for this one!
First appointment with Dr. Larriviere went well. However, does not follow up well with patients. Hard to get in touch with in between appointments. Phone calls / emails need to be made 2 to 3 times over a period of a number of days / weeks to get an answer to a question and when a response is finally given, it has nothing to do with original question or contains completely wrong information about my current treatment. Knowledge base is good but is a difficult doctor to work with secondary to practice disorganization and poor communication.
I see Dr. Larriviere at Ochsner in Louisiana for a damaged nerve in my wrist. He is an excellent neurologist and is tenacious in diagnosing and treating nerve conditions. Just as importantly, he is very personable and responds to follow-up calls unbelievably quickly. He cares about his patients and I can't recommend him highly enough.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
