Heron Med Spa's Online Review Report Card

I had liposuction, today, with Dr. Heron. I couldn't be any happier. A few mishap during the preparation, NOT the Dr's fault. I don't think the staff communicates between themselves im a timely manner. Lia, Dr Heron assistant was awesome, gave me the calm I needed as I was a bit nervous. I highly recommend Dr. Heron, I'm sure I'll be back in the future

As one review stated botched. First off Dr.Heron is not recognized by the board of plastic surgeons. So if you are looking for a snatched contour body with BBL you will not get it. During the procedure I still experience pain. The bottom line for the money you spend you’ll better off going to MIA or Atlanta. The office communicates in the beginning is great to get you to secure your $1000 deposit for surgery but after your procedure good look with a follow up appointment in person.

This business purports to be a med spa run by three professionals. The truth is, "doctor" Heron is a graduate of a sketchy chiropractic school--he studied "podiatry" via foot massage. his background: vahealthprovider.com/res… This is his claim to education: Grad School: Meharry Medical College School Of Medicine - Nashville TN Year Completed: 1977 He claims to be a "cosmetic surgeon," but he is not listed on the national website: americanboardcosmeticsur… His wife, Barbara, has NO medical training, and yet does "vaginal rejuvenation," IPL, and many more surface treatments with lasers, without medical training. The injectionist is an anesthesiologist by day, who administers Botox and fillers in the evenings and Saturdays. Run!

I did not receive adequate service from this establishment. I purchased 60 units of Dysport injections for just my forehead. (Keep in mind that I usually receive only 40 units for my forehead and it is effective at completely freezing all areas of my forehead). 3 weeks later and I still have significant movement in my forehead, I can barely notice a difference. therefore they either did not provide me with all 60 units, did not administer the 60 units properly, or diluted the 60 units improperly. Also, Dr. Michelle mentioned to me that should would be "conservative" to which I responded that I have done this before and would like to have all 60 units that I PAYED FOR. I asked her to put a few units in another area, which she totally forgot about or ignored until I reminded her after she told me I was done. I mentioned to her that one side of my forehead was stronger than the other and asked for that side to be emphasized in treatment. 3 weeks later that side is still significantly more mobile than the other side (which is also mobile and seems untreated) She also mentioned to me that because I used a Groupon they would not make a profit, which I considered very unprofessional. The staff was friendly, but I will not be returning as I feel scammed.

Amazing experience. At first I was hesitant bc of all the hoops you have to jump through (a physical, bloodwork) but I am SO SO glad i did it. Amazing staff, Doctor, great results and very affordable. I feel like a new person!

Thank you, Dr Linda! She's super sweet and truly wants to provide the best experience. I had to go back for a touch up and she went above and beyond. This is my new spa for all of my facial/injectable needs!

Dr. Michelle Henry surpassed all of my expectations! She treated my face as if it is a work of art! I highly recommend Dr Michelle for all of your injectable treatments.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Please please do yourself a favor and do not see this Dr. let me share my experience with you all so you don't even contact the office. The Dr asked for an EKG to clear my mom for surgery. Since I was busy I asked if they did it in the office and they said yes and scheduled her an appt.The nurse that did it had no idea about what she was doing and had horrible attitude. She then processed to tell me the EKG results were abnormal and that she needs to see a cardiologist. I panicked and called a family member that is a cardiologist . He told me the test had multiple artifacts and that it was done incorrectly. I told the surgery scheduler and she immediately agreed to give me a refund. The entire staff knew their machine did not work and that they did not have a skilled nurse to do the test. Then, the scheduler almost harassed me with constant messages asking me to pay for the surgery before my mom was even cleared to have the surgery.Dr.Heron or his wife Barbra did not contact at all to apologize about the EKG.They ended up using the money for a lab work without consulting me and never gave me a refund. Please do yourself a favor and look for a more professional Dr and staff, before you regret it.
