Dr Clark and his staff were courteous and helpful. Dr Clark was attentive, professional and answered all my (many) questions / concerns. My appointment time (spent) was appropriate.

I have been seeing Dr Clark for a number of years. I am quite satisfied with the staff and dr Clark. He is good at managing several patients at the same time.

The bad review is only for over charges without explanation... What a disappointment my husband and I went to our appointment everything was going well until we realized that the receptionist told us that the bill was $65.00 and ended up charging us triple. When my husband called to claim that we had been overcharged, the person said that he had not been overcharged, which was what we owed from the previous appointment. We never received any bill collected and when my husband argued, the lady said that bills were not given or sent that the state of the medical plan sent us a receipt. It did not seem ethical to us that they tell us a Balance and they will charge us another without explanation. Last visit is a lack of professional ethics and empathy for the patient. At the front desk they are supposed to explain to you what they are charging you for and why. In the end this Dr. will end up losing more than us.

Dr. Jacob Clark-great service, very courteous office staff, very efficient; Dr Clark is great; one request, does there need to be such a long wait once eye drops are given, until the actual eye inspection is done?

Quality provider and friendly staff

Dr. Clark made me cry last time I was in the office by badgering and belittling me. Like other reviewers have noted, his bedside manner is non-existent and he bullies patients by treating them like misbehaving children. I do not understand how he stays in business, since he makes the experience of visiting the eye doctor so unpleasant for his patients. I certainly won't be coming again! Good riddance.

Dr Clark is one of the very best doctors I have seen. He is thorough, careful, caring and explains things in a very clear way.

OMG. I have NEVER been treated so rudely in a medical office. I have two medical insurances and was questioning why they were charging me over my co-pay amounts. The receptionist called the business manager to the front office and rather than explain the charges to me, she was extremely unprofessional and rude. She began yelling at me and then told the receptionist I would not be allowed back, she slammed the office door as I stood there in shock at the behavior. Dr. Clark may be a good optometrist, but his staff is the worst I've seen. I strongly urge you to avoid this doctor's office.I arrived home and immediately contacted my insurance company to intervene and they tried contacting Dr Clark's office but no one answered the phones and it was only 2:30pm. Several messages have been left asking them to return the call. I deeply regret not paying attention to a review I saw about this office. I would give 0 stars if allowed.
