The front desk staff was courteous and cheerful in greeting me as a new patient. I believe it was Amy. Dr. Schefkind listened to my questions and answered them without making me feel like he was rushed.

My visits with Dr. Schefkind have always been very comfortable. I feel he answers my questions and listens to my concerns - and I fully trust in his guidance. I am very glad I chose him as my eye doctor.

I worked for this company as a Technician for the past 11 months. I loved the staff and the doctors are phenomenal. In September 2021 they were bought out by another group which made our jobs stressful. To add to that a new office manager was hired approximately 3 months ago. This office manager is the reason staff are leaving or want to leave. She takes extended lunch periods and rude to staff. She never helps out when the front desk is short staffed, unable to help the surgical coordinator or Tech staff due to her lack of knowledge and unwillingness to learn. I went to her to ask if I could help the surgical coordinator or front desk staff and she said she would get back to me but never did. Due to lack of communication on her part regarding further employment at the company, i found it in my best interest to find employment elsewhere. I turned my 2 weeks notice in to her and she sent me a text message and email to see her before leaving for that day. I went in her office and she had HR on the phone, she said " thank you for your notice but your service is no longer needed" with no explanation.

Dr. Shefkind has been my eye doctor for many years and has consistently guided me in the right direction when I had problems. Not too much, not to little. Just the right approach to solving the problem. He has a great office staff as well which speaks to the kind of person he is.

Dr. Schefkin has been my ophthalmologist for years. As a retired nurse I trust his judgment and wouldn’t even consider going to anyone else for my eye care and upcoming cataract surgery

I have been a patient of Dr. Schefkind for many years and am also a retired nurse. I would highly recommend him for eye care and surgery. His staff is wonderful and he is very attentive to questions and concerns and I can't speak highly enough about this wonderful doctor

Really???? I don't know what doctor's office these people are complaining about but I have never been treated rudely by the front desk/receptionist or anyone in the office. Everyone is professional and courteous. Dr. Schefkind is thorough and kind. I hope the people who left complaints will contact Dr. Schefkind's office again as they will be very pleased with his service/treatments.

Dr. Schefkind is very nice and knowledgeable but his front desk staff is HORRIBLE!! Rude, dismissive, incompetent and unhelpful. They asked for all of my personal information up front to include insurance details just to eventually tell me there were no appointments available on my preferred dates. Then they told me that I'd have to schedule two SEPARATE appointments in order to have a normal eye exam and then have a potential medical issue addressed. This is my second time experiencing this level of frustration with them. I thought the first time was a fluke but now I see, this is how they regularly operate. Won't be a third!
