List of Sean L. Rogers's Reviews
Last month, we were very disappointed by the fact that twice, in 2 weeks, the office of Doctor Sean Rogers, neurologist, affiliated with INOVA Alexandria, Fairfax and Fair Oaks Hospitals, did not call us back. We wanted to explain to Dr. Rogers that my husband, a Parkinson patient of his for several years now, was suddenly unable to walk and that this sudden and complete loss of mobility could be due to medications. It was a rather severe medical issue that required timely guidance and feedback. My husband’s physician recommended a full evaluation be done at Virginia Hospital Center to better understand and identify the source of my husband’s sudden loss of mobility. Dr. Rogers’ input was critical. Out of a team of three doctors, Dr. Rogers was the only doctor who did not participate in the VHC evaluation, nor did he communicate his opinion or guidance to any of the other doctors. With insistence, we were able to reach Dr. Rogers’ nurse who told us that we have to contact the doctor through the ‘My Chart’ web portal and that Dr. Rogers doesn’t return phone calls. Requiring patients, most of whom are elderly and suffer from a serious neurological condition, is not reasonable. Older patients, like my husband who is 80 years old, are unable to communicate using an Internet based messaging tool that requires a computer, steady hands and an understanding of how to use a web portal. Doctors, especially specialists who treat serious medical conditions, should not be so busy that they are unable to follow up with their patients in a time of need. As a result of this most recent experience with Dr. Rogers, we have decided to find the assistance of another neurologist.
Very knowledgeable, kind and explains things very well.
Dr. Rodgers has been treating my father for Parkinson's, and I am very happy with his care. He is very knowledgeable about the disease and has helped us explore treatment options. He doesn't rush us when we're in the office and answers all of our questions.
Dr. Rogers is kind, caring and knowledgable. He is very concerned and responsive.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
