I've been seeing Dr. Mircea for 2 years. She cares about her patients, along with the nurses, staff that work with her. She is also friendly.

Visited Dr. Mircea once for an annual physical and to assist in filling out an insurance form. She did not complete the insurance form - forgot a field and misread another. I found her to be rude, insisting she was reading it correctly. The paper "gown" for the physical was very uncomfortable.

Picture this: You've got new insurance and need to find a new doctor. You LOVED your old doctor because she was smart, kind, attentive, a good problem-solver, and her office staff was amazing. You wait nervously for your "new doctor" and she comes in with her computer and tells you to "move away from her desk." She then spends the next hour typing all the things you wrote down into her computer while complaining about her nurses. Several times she stops to shame you for not being thorough enough even though the forms don't ask for responses to the questions she is asking and don't have a lot of room. After this abrupt introduction she does a cursory examination and then laments that you are on "too many medicines." You wonder how this could be true especially since none of the medicines are pain killers, and you've been on them for years. You say "Is there a specific concern?" and she says vaguely "No, just too many" and then decides she won't refill them. Instead, she asks you come back for blood work, then go to a psychiatrist and a foot doctor, then come back to her. She provides no indication of why this is necessary and when you ask for names of doctors she likes she doesn't have any. You leave. You're so upset. You decide you have no choice but to do what she says and then you think: "Wait. NO. I deserve better than this. I'm paying HER. I'm not going to let her chastise me and waste my time. I'm done." So you find another doctor. The End. Don't let this be your story.

Dr. Mircea has been my PC for 17+ years. If she ever decided to move her practice to East Jabib , I'd find a way to get there. That's how much I value, trust and respect her.

Be very careful. This doctor over prescribes drugs and, in my opinion, is not a doctor I would trust my health with. After recommending them for several years, I will NEVER go back to Dr. Mircea or her office. I notified her that I was misdiagnosed in my last appointment and that I was put on the wrong medication for months. Rather than apologize and inquire about what happened, she made excuses for her team and said "we cannot diagnose everything". She was incredibly rude and did not follow through with the appointment I had scheduled. The scary part is when I was diagnosed the first time, the doctor said "I have to look this up" and then came back 10 minutes later with a prescription. I should have known better then. There have been drug reps in their offices every time I have visited and now it makes sense. Do not go to this doctor unless you are looking for drugs you do not need.

Mr. Mircea has been my PC for 15+ yrs. She is thorough, knowledgeable, supportive and really cares about me and my overall health and well-being. If she ever decided to move her practice to another state...I'd gladly follow without hesitation:)

I was new to the area and looking for a doctor covered by my medical insurance to help me get some antibiotics for a sinus infection. The doctor, Dr. Mircea, herself was fine. Not great, not bad - definitely seemed over worked and didn't give much special attention. Her staff, on the other hand, was absolutely wretched and horrible. The front desk was awful, the nurse who saw me prior to the doctor coming in made an incredibly INCREDIBLY insensitive remark regarding a recent surgical procedure I'd been forced to have recently (such an awful remark that when I told my husband he threatened to go to their office and speak directly to the doctor with a complaint). To top it all off, I got some blood work done and STILL haven never received my results. I was there 6 months ago. I've left three messages and never once had a returned call.Horrid, horrid office. Avoid at all costs - no human being deserves to be treated this way.

I have been Dr.Mircea's patient for more then 10 years.The front desk and the nurses were always very nice and helpful so I am surprise by the other review.Never had a problem with billing also.She was always very professional and her diagnose and treatment was always spot on.As far as I am aware the clinic has emergency appointments in the morning.Sometimes I saw the NP/PA but they were wonderful.MC

Dr. Mirela Mircea is my physician since 1999, and I'm always impressed by her professionalism, kindness, and care! Her office is very well located, the appointment accesible, and the nurses are friendly and very professional. I'd like to recommend this physician to every one in search for a solid and experienced family physician.
