List of Adlah Sukkar's Reviews
I had an appointment last year to see Dr. Sukkar and when I revealed I wasn’t vaccinated yet, she chastised me for putting her other patients at risk who are on a list for lung transplant due to Covid. I didn’t appreciate being scorned like that and she seemed to forget I’m her patient too and came to see her for my asthma related issue. Find a doctor who doesn’t judge you as that’s not their job.
Dr. Sukkar is a specialist and is very excellent at what she does. She helped me through COVID-related respiratory issues and her patient skills are the best too! She provided me with the best care I could have hoped for (and still does). I highly recommend Dr. Sukkar!
Dr. Sukkar is an amazing doctor, she is personable, warm, and caring and an outstanding pulmonologist You can not find a doctor who is more passionate, knowledgeable, and engaged with her patients by providing the highest level of care. She goes above and beyond to make sure you are getting the highest level of attention and treatment. Dr. Sukkar makes you feel comfortable and reassured that you will get the proper diagnosis and care. The level of meticulous care and attention you get by her and the staff at Northern Virginia Pulmonary and Critical Care is top rated and second to none. She has been my doctor for over 4 years and I couldn't be any more happier by how great and awesome she is and how extremely compassionate she is with all her patients. I was diagnosed with DVT and PE and she has been in the fore front with my treatment from the beginning. She makes sure all my doctors, GI, Neurologist, Primary Care, etc are all on the same page. She double checks to make sure my current medications don't conflict with my blood thinner meds and PE. Dr. Sukkar's expertise, persistence, support and sensitive care and ability to pivot when obstacles arise has been evident from day 1 when I was first admitted into the hospital till today. There are not enough words to describe what an amazing doctor she is and all her patients are lucky to have her on their side ! If you are lucky enough to have her as your doctor, then the next time you are in for an appointment.....ask her if you can borrow her pen ! SHE IS THE BEST......

She is excellent at diagnosis and providing treatment options. Very knowledgable and professional with a great personality, simply the best.
Exceptionally caring office. Outstanding from the receptionist right through a very careful and considerate visit with dr Sukkar. Very positive experience.
I tried calling on Monday to schedule an appointment I called about 7 times I even left a voicemail and I had no luck. I came in and was told I had to make an appointment and I let the receptionist know that I tried making an appointment and I even left a voicemail. She apologized saying they were understaffed yet I could see people answering phones but I let it go and asked for the next available appointment. She told me to come back the next day @ 3 pm to the same office. I came back got here at 2:39 all the paper work was filled out. But then she came up to me about 20-30 minutes later saying she messed up and scheduled me at falls church. And that it she would get it to work out. I had to wait for 7 patients total to go before getting called. After patient # 5 went in I asked her how much longer it would take and she said that I would be called next which obviously didn’t happen because we had to wait for 2 more patients to go in before getting called. I know people make mistakes and all but at least be positive that I’m next and don’t just say it. I had to miss my sons appointment I am just unsatisfied with the front service. The assistant in the back who helped us was nice and helpful which is why I’m not giving this place one star. I was so upset that I wrote this as soon as I had a chance. I’m pretty sure the pulmonologist will be good.
Dr. Adlah is a wonderful, amazing Doctor! I am grateful for her care
Dr. Sukkar is a gift from above. She is a true doctor in every sense of the word. Compassionate and in tune. My dear octogenarian aunt is suffering from several forms of cancer, including pulmonary. Underlying chronic pulmonary conditions complicate treatment. Dr. Sukkar has been remarkable in keeping my aunt here. She is attentive to every detail and includes quality of life in her treatment plan decisions. Her finger is on the pulse - she is right with her patient every step of the way.
Dr. Sukkar has been my Pulmonologist treating my COPD for approximately ten years. We have been through both good and bad times, but Dr. Sukkar has stood steadfast as my professional healthcare provider who ALWAYS remained honest, positive, and caring. Her most significant virtue is that she is an excellent LISTENER! I remain extremely happy to have chosen Dr. Sukkar as my Pulmonologist. NONE BETTER!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
