He is methodical, brilliant Wouldn’t think of any other vascular specialist

Our primary care physician suggested we see Dr Aryavand for a second opinion concerning my husband’s vascular disease. Dr Aryavand was amazing. He took the time to review my husband‘s records and answered every question we had. I think we asked him the same question more than once but he was more than patient with us. We were very impressed with Dr Aryavand. We would definitely recommend him to family and friends.

I cannot express with words the level of professionalism displayed by Dr. Aryavand. It is rare to find a doctor these days who is not in practice solely for financial gains and who would give their honest opinion about the effectiveness and/or necessity of certain procedures, even to their own financial detriment. I would recommend him highly.

Totally competent. Everything he predicted came to pass w/ my PAD operation. His staff is wonderful and actually seem to be happy to work there.

I had a successful phlebectomy that was impacting my mobility and he did an excellent job with the procedure. He and his staff were attentive, competent and did a superb job from the beginning to post-op process. My problem was completely solved and I was very pleased with the outcome. I would use his services again.

Dr Aryavand did my endarterectomy (plaque removal from my carotid artery). It’s now six months later and my scar is disappearing. Latest ultrasound shows 0 plaque in the affected artery, so the operation was a complete success. My neck is still numb; expected time for complete recovery is said to be a year.

It seems you need to see Dr Aryavand a couple times for him to open up. First visit was very good but I needed to ask many questions. Second visit was in the hospital for surgery. He was more open and informative. Third time was for a post op visit to his office where our meeting was great. It is difficult to get a response from his staff on the phone. Other than his nurse, who was extremely helpful and friendly. There were times they did not return my call after leaving them a verbal message to call back. This group must be extremely busy. I tried to change my November appointment from his main office in No. Va to his office near my home which is about 1 mile away. If I accepted the change my appointment I had to wait until February!! Totally unacceptable for a post op visit. I kept my appointment and drove nearly an hour to get to the main office. The procedure Dr Aryavand performed on me was a total success!! For that I am greatly appreciative. I DO look forward to seeing him for my ongoing followup visits.

I would put my trust in Dr. Aryavand's skills in assessment/prevention guidence for health management and in the operating room. My view holds true now and will carry into the future. His approach and technique used to resolve my issues has been and continues to be superb. I can only say: thank you for adding years to my life with your timely and measured solutions to my needs !!! Dr. Aryavand is a competent surgeon who was on call the evening we presented our emergency at Fairfax Hospital. We were lucky enough to have him perform surgery on our mom and will continue to see him with any vascular needs and concerns. The follow up appointment was easily scheduled and the office staff were kind and professional. Thank you Dr. Aryavand for taking care of Mom!
