Dr. Wheeler took the time to review my charts , medical history, surgery and test results, and created a treatment plan that suits me. He is always patient and listens. He confers with my other doctors and treatment providers. I am fortunate to have found him for my ongoing treatment. I recommend him highly.

I saw Dr.Wheeler in the hospital after my bilateral lung transplant and he was so compassionate and caring. He came by almost every day to my room to check on me.After I got out of hospital I had to go back a week later due to an infection and he was there for me. I went for an office visit 2 weeks after I got out of hospital and he was the same . Just caring and compassionate. He is a genuine person and a great Doctor.

I was a patient of Dr. Wheeler’s from 2000 to 2015. He provided excellent care. He was actively involved with medical research and treatment at the local and national level.

Been going to him for over 20 years. Have had several hospital stays and he has been to most of them. The practice has always had a rep there, last time Dr. Morrison and Dr. Wheeler plus others. He listens and is well respected in the medical field. And the staff are great. Always willing to do their best with forms, call in prescriptions, finding financial assistance, even filling out forms to pick up or sign. Dr. Wheeler also helps with programs like the Juniper Project and other charitable causes. As do the other doctors that are there.

I saw this doctor for Lyme disease several years ago, but I will never forget how horrible it was. He said my symptoms were psychosomatic, and basically insulted me by saying I was making it all up. I have been on disability now for 10years, but will never forget this awful experience with this terrible doctor. Do not see him if you are suffering from any chronic illness.

No real interest shown by this doctor to research the medical situation that I was experiencing since he didn't show me that he was aware of much in that area. It seemed to me like his desire patients to help was long gone.

Incompetent doctor who is unable to effectively treat infection. He will prescribe broad spectrum antibiotics, if by luck, your infection is caused by bacteria in this broad spectrum then good for you otherwise you are doomed because Dr David A. wheeler is unable to come up with antibiotics that target your specific infection.

Please do not see this doctor. I had late stage Lyme disease and this doctor said there was nothing wrong with me and that my symptoms were pschosomatic! Worst experience ever!

Dr. wheeler is a terrible doctor! Do not go to him!!!!! I went for a second opinion for my Lyme disease and he told me all my symptoms were psychosomatic! So insulting! Was a horrible experience!
