Great provider. Dr Albino is the best

This will not be my last review as we have just started my journey with reconstructive surgery after a mastectomy. All I want to say at this time is that he is just an amazing Doctor and an amazing person. Anyone that is fortunate to get a chance to work with him consider yourself truly blessed! AND his staff is just terrific! Thanks Doc!

Dr. Albino is a gem. There are not enough stars I can leave to for him. He gets allllll the stars and then some! He did my breast reconstruction after my treatment for stage 3 cancer and he was the only bright spot in a long line of doctors that left me with a distaste for the health care system in America. He has it all. He makes you feel seen. And after dealing w a slew of doctors that just see you as a disease to treat or just another cancer patient, he made me feel seen as a human being and heard. He is a breath of fresh air. He has given me faith that there are still doctors that do what they do because they care and because they want to be good doctors. He looks you in the eyes, he is sincere and he goes above and beyond. He would come in on his days off to help when I developed a complication. He texted me the day I got home to see if I was ok. Not only is his bedside manner exceptional but that isn’t even the most impressive thing about him. He’s also an extremely talented surgeon. My procedure was very complicated as I chose to use a fairly new procedure that is complex and intricate using my own tissue for a more natural result. I’m only a few months out from my reconstruction and it looks better and better every day. Not to mention every doctor who has seen the results is impressed and I’m not even fully healed - that’s how you know a good doctor when other doctors are impressed. I don’t leave reviews especially for doctors - after dealing w cancer and the health care system for 2 years I am beyond disgusted at the American health care system. But I felt compelled to write this review for Dr. Albino because he is truly exceptional. I knew from the first appointment he was my doctor. And I never looked back. I adore him as a human being and respect his talent and skill as a doctor. I would trust him for any procedure and know I will be in amazing hands from beginning to end.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Albino and his exceptional staff. I spent a long time researching different surgeons in the Northern VA area. I am so happy I went with Dr. Albino. From my initial consult, pre-surgery appointment, day of surgery and post op appointments, I felt I was in good hands. Dr. Albino explains everything in detail, is reassuring, confident, and has a great sense of humor. I found the detailed post surgery care packet CPS provides to be extremely helpful. I also appreciated Dr. Albino reaching out the morning after my surgery to check on me. I had an extended abdominoplasty and lipo. After two c-sections years ago and recently losing a significant amount of weight, I had excess skin. I am now about eight weeks out and I could not be happier with the results - even better than I thought possible. Dr. Albino is at the top of his game and I highly recommend him!

Dr. Albino and staff are amazing! I was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2021 and decided to have a bilateral mastectomy with Diep Flap reconstruction. Dr. Albino was very patient, compassionate, understanding and thorough in explaining my options (this was crucial in my decision). He was "on point" with the recommendation to delay my Diep after healing from the mastectomy because he suspected that I would have necrosis (and he was right). Dr. Albino helped manage my expectations of my surgeries, the recovery time and the outcome. I am very pleased with the care and the outcome of my Diep Flap surgery. Most importantly, he was very reassuring about the one thing that caused my need for reconstruction, the cancer. His reassurance that I would get through this meant a lot during a difficult time. Everyone in the office from the front desk to Dr. Albino are amazing! They were all very helpful, professional and caring. The nurses were outstanding! Shiloh was so helpful!

First of all the staff at CPS has been wonderful. I've never had to wait more than a few minutes to be seen. Dr. Albino is warm and personable. I found him easily accessible after my facelift. His surgical skill is excellent and he sets very realistic expectations about what can be achieved.

I would not recommend Dr. Albino for breast cosmetic surgeries, and I waited long enough to ensure my comment was fair, not emotional. I underwent a double mastectomy a year ago after completing my chemotherapy treatment. The breast surgeon, Dr. Collette M. (left the practice recently), did not like to work with the plastic surgeon whom I had known for several years, and I trusted him. She changed the situation so that I had no choice but to have Dr. Albino in the operation room on the day of my surgery. Dr. Albino placed two surgical drains on the wrong spots (lower part of my armpits), leaving me with two permanent unpleasant scars and chronic pain. Ever since, I have been treating the pain due to nerve damage. Also, because one of the temporary implants was damaged during the surgery, I had to undergo a reconstruction/revision surgery sooner than I was ready physically and emotionally. Hopefully, my old plastic surgeon accepted to perform the reconstruction procedure as a courtesy. Still, he could not do the job we expected because of the “mess” the last team had made during my mastectomy. I would not recommend Dr. Albino.

Dr. Albino and his nurse Katie have been my saving grace through my initial breast cancer diagnosis all the way through a reconstruction surgery, a revision surgery, and implant exchange due to an excision of a secondary tumor. His bedside manner is unmatched. He is compassionate and truly cares about patient satisfaction. He goes above and beyond for his patients to include several follow up calls when he’s “off the clock”, giving his professional advice without reprimanding, and consistent positive attitude and wonderful demeanor. I’m so thankful to have had the pleasure of working with him throughout this devastating time in my life.
