I highly recommend Dr. Horbach for any woman having urogynocological problems. She is a fantastic, extremely competent doctor and just as important, a good person. She takes the time to not only answer all your questions and concerns but literally diagrams exactly what the problem looks like and her recommendation to fix it. I recently had a successful, large, invasive operation with her. Due to the nature of the operation, I had three other opinions and I immediately went back to Dr. Horbach. I trust her implicitly!! I don't have one complaint, how many people can say that about their doctors. Additionally every person that works for her is as caring, kind, competent and professional. I cannot say enough good things about her, SHE's THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS!!!

For a number of years I suffered from symptoms of pelvic organ prolapse. After trying various treatments, I realized I needed surgery, which I put off because of COVID but also because I was frightened of major surgery. I researched urogyn. surgeons in the area and, despite the distance, felt Dr. Horbach to be the "right fit". I was correct. Dr. Horbach was both professional and sympathetic.. She explained in terms anyone could understand and also had many suggestions for helping with everything pre-op to post-op. Just talking to her the morning of surgery calmed my fears. Everything went smoothly and my progress has been phenomeLaurnal. Her office staff was courteous and friendly. The Inova hospital staff that was her "team" were very knowledgeable and helpful. The surgery went on time and discharge the next day was before noon, which made my husband and me very happy. This surgery has been life-changing! I can't praise Dr. Horbach enough and would recommend her to anyone.

I had surgery in 2003. If I knew then what I would not have had Dr. Horbach do my surgery. To begin with she cut my urethra. I now have to wear two large pads, can't go swimming. and have a very difficult time if I can't get to a ladies room every two hours to change pads. I do not have any feeling of urinating. I have been to several other urologist and they say they can't do anything for me except a bag.

Excellent. Dr. Nicholette S. Horbach spent plenty of time with me at my first appointment today. She explained my issues carefully & patiently with a detailed diagram & described treatment options. She performed an internal exam horizontally & vertically. had the diagram copy to take home. The results of the office visit was online that evening, which I saved. Dr. Horbach also reviewed my earlier test and made a copy for my file. I have had many fine gynecologists for 54 years and I know good physicians. I also worked at a medical school as as assistant professor and met many good doctors. I respect & like Dr. Horbach & plan to go back.

Dr. Horbach thoroughly explained every aspect of my prolapse problem as well as the different methods for correcting it. I elected to have surgery. I’m very pleased with the results. Dr. Horbach and the staff at the Urogyn office and Inova Hospital were excellent.

She may be a good surgeon, I guess I will find out in a few years if my prolapse returns, but the followup from surgery is terrible. I was supposed to have a 2, 4, 12 week appointment. At the time they scheduled the surgery, they did not have any 2 week followup appointments, had to wait for the 4 week, much too long to wait to return had lots of intestinal issues after surgery. And every appointment they scheduled for me they called the day before and changed. One appointment they called the morning of as I was half-way to her office and just canceled it. I never saw Dr. Horbach in the hospital after the surgery, her partner came to my hospital room, and I never saw Dr. Horbach after surgery because every appointment scheduled with her was changed. And they said they only have appointments with the nurse practitioner. The appointment line never answers their phone you can only leave a message. Very poor customer service.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Horbach yesterday, having been referred by my OB/GYN. After waiting an hour to be seen, I was ready to be mad...but after the first 5 minutes with her, I was not disappointed! She is an excellent clinician, she explained the reason for my wait (patients with acute needs); she provided a very thorough and detailed approach to my medical complaint after taking a comprehensive history (options ranging from conservative ..think exercises...to surgery). She spent an hour with me …. I was very satisfied with the service and will return for follow up visits!

I've been going here for years. Love this location and also the people are friendly and informative. Never had a problem here. Highly recommended!
