This individual performed a lackluster and incomplete assessment, provided assumptions and essentially false statements in the patient’s chart, withheld appropriate treatment that was not in line with current research.

I went to see her cause I was very ill. Due to my age and being extremely sick I didnt understand what she was saying. Next thing you know she gives me a vaccine which I didnt ask for and ended causing all sorts of problems. Now I feel like im dying. Common sense, you dont give a sick person a vaccine. You treat the root cause. Im seeking a lawyer for malpractice.

Excellent experience with Dr Durbhakula. She has helped me address several conditions without the use of prescription drugs. Her manner is direct and supportive. She talks to you about the cause of medical issues. She is the primary care physician for me (65 yr male) and my adult children and was their Dr. when they were older adolescents so she covers a lot of different age groups. Plus I love that the office has Sat hours and I can get in with the Phys. Asst. for routine issues.

Our family is delighted with Dr. Durbhakula! She is so responsive, understanding, and knowledgeable, with a calm, friendly personality. We're so happy we found her.

Dr. Durbhakula is great, but the system she works for, which is INOVA, is really terrible and frustrating. To get an appointment, you have to call and wait for 15-20 minutes to get to a scheduler. Any time you call, you are calling center that services several doctor offices and the representative does not know anything much about the office nor can answer any questions you need that is if your call gets through at. Most of the time the wait to just to get to the call center to answer the darn phone is 15 - 30 minutes. I've expressed my concerns to the management, and they promised to address the problem and follow up with me with an email, and for weeks, I have not heard anything back and the issues are still the same. You would have to leave a voice message, and if they get back with you, it's usually a missed call and they leave a message....it's like forever playing phone tags. The entire system is very impersonal. If you want client- centered and patient-centered services, you WON'T get it with Inova Medical Group! 3 times I was on the phone for 20+ minutes just to find out if the Shingrix vaccine in stock so I can come in for the vaccine. Crazy!

Dr. D, as she likes to be known, was extremely professional and thorough. She is clearly adept and has that "bed side" manor that many doctors aspire to have. Her colleagues at the practice are bar-none the best and the office manager knows her stuff! I highly recommend this practice and Dr. D for your health needs.

She cannot seem to get prescriptions written the way that Medicare will honor them. After several attempts by the pharmacist to contact her or her nurse, the pharmacist still could not fill the prescription because it was not written correctly. I had to call the office myself and her nurse told me she would take care of it but it was not done. I finally gave up and did without the medication.

Dr. Durbhakula is great! I, too, was a little sad that my physician of many years departed the practice, but I am totally happy with my new doctor, Dr. Durbhakula. She is very smart, listens well and is both kind and patient in her explanations. She's super!

Dr. Durbhakula has replaced my primary physician in NOVA and I am very pleased. I was apprehensive as I had been going to my doctor for over 15 years, but Dr. Durbhakula proved to be a great doctor. I will not be switching practices!
