I absolutely love Dr. Tina Falika King. She saved my son's life when I went into pre-term labor at 29 weeks over 6 years ago. I am happy to say she is to this day my favorite physician.

She is very kind hearted. I loved her care. Thank you for providing me a good care and listening to me.

Dr.King was my OB/GYN at a different practice in 2020 for my first born. After a less than stellar visit with Dr.Graham that left a bad taste in my mouth, I made a second appointment with Dr.King for an issue. Dr.King sat and listened and made sure to provide a treatment plan that I was comfortable with and understood completely. Through out my pregnancy she continued the amazing care and even was able to deliver my daughter. I hope to have her deliver my next baby.

From the moment I met Dr. King I knew she was the right one to deliver my 2nd son. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable, she also takes her time, answers all your questions, and develops a personalized plan you. Her bedside manor puts you at ease. As an Black mother of advanced maternal age, there are so many issues that can cause fear, so many articles about poor health outcomes for women and babies like this in my area, but once I started my visits with Dr. King, that all melted away. Thank you doctor King for ushering in my healthy baby boy and doing everything you could to make sure I remained healthy too. My family will be forever grateful.

There aren’t enough stars to describe what a GREAT doctor Dr. King is. Her bedside manner and surgical hand are phenomenal . My baby days are over; however, Dr. King ensures that “my girl parts” are working as they should. I’ve join the club of “Private Summer Vacations” better known as Hot Flashes and Dr. King is the cool breeze to these miserable vacations. Thank you for ALL you do!

Dr. King is a precious gift to the medical field. She is attentive, extremely knowledgeable, and personable. You will feel like you are her only patient. Just phenomenal! I could honestly go on and on about this doctor.

Dr. King is intelligent, respectful and caring. I had my second girl with Dr. King as my doctor during the Christmas week in December 2020. My baby was past her due date and Dr. King scheduled me for induction, and when I got to my birthing room at 7am. The nurse needed to check to see that my daughter’s head was in the right position before she induced me. The nurse could not ‘find’ her head, then she called a senior nurse to check, she couldn’t find her head either. She called an ultrasound technician to check, and the technician brought a different ultrasound device and she couldn’t fine it either. Fortunately for me, Dr. King arrived. The nurses called her for assistance. As usual, when she walked in, she joked about the baby and we all laughed. She took the ultrasound device handle, in less 30 seconds, yes, you read it correctly, in less than 30 seconds. She found her head and it was in the right position. She showed the nurses and the technician in a respectful manner. She made few talks with me and my husband for few minutes and nurses begun the induction process. As usual, she made few jokes and left the room with all of us laughing, myself included. During the delivery, she took her time and patiently explained everything to me, my husband or the nurses. I never felt rushed on or not been cared for. My understanding is that she had about 4 patients on labor including me. Yet, it felt like she was my private Doctor. She was always available. I was on labor for 23 hours and Dr. King was available with me through out, and not even once did she lose her cool. She was encouraging me, caring for me and made me very happy. I can go-on and on about Dr. King’s intelligence, and caring nature but in the interest of time, I will just list one more. In about 7 inches dilation, my daughter’s breathing was on red alert. About 10 nurses rushed to my room, the induction was stopped, and it looked like I was going to be sent to an emergency C-Section, the nurses were changing me positions and they called Dr. King, in less than 5 minutes, she was in the room . I was tired and exhausted, my husband explained to me later that, she guided the nurses to makes few changes to the drips and changed my positions and everything was back to normal range. Throughout all of this, she never panicked or lose her sense of humor. I’m pretty sure if it was any other Doctor, the baby breathing scare would have landed me in an emergency c-section, but Dr. King intelligence and encouragement helped me had a vaginal delivery. I did not have Dr. King for my first born so I have seen a difference. Also, I have seen few OBGYNs and from my experience, the likes of Dr. King are not common. When I moved from Seattle to Alexandria, VA with my pregnancy. I found an OBGYN at the Physicians and Midwives Practice of Alexandria due its proximity to my house. However, in that office I was not assigned a regular doctor. I saw a different Doctor in every visit. After seeing about 5 doctors, I finally saw Dr. King and was very impressed with her. Then, I tried to scheduled my next visit with her and the receptionist told me that, that day was her last day .I was so impressed with her that , I did few google search to find her current office in Annandale and followed her. I am very happy I did. Dr. King is a very smart OBGYN. I am fortunate to have Dr. King as my OBGYN. The nurses/admin staff seem happy to work with her. If you are finding it difficult to schedule your first appointment with her, be patient, all her patients love her. However, when you eventually become her patient you will be glad for the wait and find it easier to get subsequent appointments.

Dr king is AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING

We saw Dr. King as a specialist during two difficult pregnancies and she is absolutely the best! Her calming and genuine personality helped my nerves tremendously. She answered all my questions and concerns in terms I could understand and never made me feel as though I was alone in the process. Plus she was a Godsend during my last delivery as the on call provider and monitors were not picking up my contractions although I full well knew I was in premature labor. She ironically walked past my door, called me by name (even though we had only met a few times), and immediately assessed and correctly pronounced I was in full labor. I don't know what I would have done without her. Hands down a great doctor!!
