List of Aysha Farooqi's Reviews
I initially really liked her and felt comfortable, but felt she became dismissive and I was ultimately embarrassed for having spoken to her honestly about my medical history.
Excellent care from Dr Farooqi after cardiac incident.
Dr. Farooqui has a very condescending air to her. Arrogance is unbecoming; does not listen to medical history/ issues. Request someone else.
Dr. Farooqui was a hospitalist during my recent hospitalization for pulmonary embolisms. She was disengaged, poorly informed, and rude. She changed my pain medication, but neglected to complete the change to include the new drug. This resulted in my going 9 hours without medication when I had been receiving IV opiates every two hours. Upon my release (on a Friday), she told me that I could return to work the next Monday. It took three months to recover. Very poor standard of care. Avoid.
Dr. Farooqi became involved due to complications with my 82 year-old Mother's hip replacement. Dr. Farooqi is a kidney expert and quickly diagnosed that my Mother (who authorized my review!) had a UTI with other issues and took quick action in coordination with Dr. Colvin Wellborn, who skillfully conducted the surgery. I am not an expert in medicine but was very impressed with her confidence and manner. She is an impressive and caring person who engenders well-placed confidence in patients.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
