We have been going to Dr Stevens for over 15 years. She is very knowledgeable, and professional and truly cares about the wellbeing of our kids. She does not rush us out but takes the time to listen to our concerns and does her best to address them. I highly recommend her. Her office staff is excellent as well.

We had a great experience with Dr Stevens. She uses evidence based medicine as well as humor and empathy. It was the perfect combination for my son. She took her time and was very thorough. We highly recommend her.

We cannot recommend Dr. Stevens highly enough. She is an exceptional pediatrician—thorough, thoughtful, and incredibly knowledgeable. At every appointment, she takes the time to understand the root cause of any concern and clearly explains what matters, ensuring we feel informed and reassured. Her clinical insight is both deep and nuanced; she often considers possibilities that others might overlook. (My husband, who is also a physician, has consistently been impressed by her diagnostic approach.) In addition to her medical expertise, Dr. Stevens brings warmth, empathy, and a genuine sense of care. She creates an environment where we feel completely comfortable asking questions and discussing concerns, no matter how small. Looking forward to my son growing up with her practice!

Stay away. We took our 5-year-old son to this clinic for a routine check-up. We’ve been living in the U.S. for a year and a half, and he had seen another doctor before, but that clinic was far from home, so we followed a recommendation and decided to try this one, which is nearby. It was a big mistake. They are completely unprepared to treat anyone who doesn’t fit into the narrow world they seem to live in. They struggled to understand the vaccines administered in Brazil, which actually seem to be much more comprehensive than what they’re used to. They appeared unfamiliar with the standard Brazilian pediatric vaccines, such as the pentavalent and hexavalent. They also didn’t seem to understand how the BCG vaccine works. They insisted on performing a tuberculosis blood test just because our son was born in Brazil. Not only has he been in the U.S. for over a year, attending school and with a clean bill of health, but he has no symptoms whatsoever—certainly nothing remotely close to a serious disease like tuberculosis. When asked what the procedure would be in the highly likely case of a false positive (which is common in people vaccinated with BCG), they said—without hesitation—that he should then be submitted to a chest X-ray. A clinic that wants to subject a 5-year-old child to two unnecessary tests solely because of his country of birth can only be described as xenophobic. I certainly did not expect this kind of prejudice and ignorance when I scheduled the appointment.

Unfriendly and expensive. Tell our kid to do unnecessary screenings. Terrible experience.

Dr Barbara Stevens is one of the best pediatrician i have seen ever,very experienced & professional,her all staff are very good ,Also all are very helpful & friendly too..keep it up 👍

We love the staff at Dr. Stevens office, the care, professionalism displayed by Ms. Lisa, Nurse Denise AKA “Angel Hands” and PA Cousins is exceptional. Dr. Stevens takes pride and care to give her best to her patients and listens to what you have to say and your concerns. My son feels comfortable going to her office every single time.
