I missed 2 appointments nearly a year ago & purely by mistake missed my appointment last Friday because I got the time mixed up. They stated they sent me a warning email a few months ago - it was a YEAR ago. The fact it doesn’t reset is genuinely ridiculous. I am recovering from Covid, have two children & am deeply struggling with my mental & physical health, all of which they’re aware of, & because of missing one appointment in an entire year, I was discharged. Rescheduled my appointment last Friday letting them know what happened, went to join the telehealth visit yesterday where it says appointment cancelled. Called & they said I didn't have an appointment, I literally Had a text with the time & link. Then they said well it shouldn’t have been scheduled because I’m being discharged (with the last warning being again, 12 months ago). Mind you this was FIVE minutes before my appointment I desperately needed because I’m adjusting meds & having frequent panic attacks. They just up your meds, then when they get in trouble with their manager they take away your anxiety meds you’ve been on for months without a word. Now I’m out of a psych because I missed A single appointment in 12 months :-) this was an urgent appointment so I clearly needed it & genuinely mixed the time up because again, I’m struggling. You’d really think an office that handles mental health of all things would be a tad more gracious. Hopefully nobody else has this experience because this is truly ridiculous lol.

In my experience, Bloom in Arlington does not offer scheduling flexibility that meets patients’ real needs. Appointments appear to be limited to standard business hours, with 3:00 p.m. being the latest available appointment. Instead of hiring practitioners who can start later and stay later, the practice seems to structure its services entirely around practitioner availability. This creates unnecessary hardship for patients, especially those who are already under significant stress or in crisis. Requiring everyone to attend appointments during normal work hours adds avoidable pressure to their jobs, schedules, and overall well-being. This feels like a fixable problem, but the practice does not seem willing to address it in a way that puts patients first.

Absolutely love Dr. Morin. He’s incredibly understanding and forthright with solutions beyond prescription medicine. He really gives you his time and undecided attention for the full length of your appointment so you never feel rushed and your plan feels very specific to your needs.
