We moved from Chicago (where there is great healthcare) to DC and were really nervous about finding a great doctor here. One of my friends highly recommended Dr. Boinest, and my husband and I have both been going to her now for almost two years. I can't say enough good things about her bedside manner, expertise, and practical approach to good healthcare.

When the internist I had been seeing for over 10 years retired, I switched to Dr. Catherine Boinest. She has a warm and friendly bedside manner and listens thoughtfully to any concerns that the patient may have. She was quick to allay my fears about a lump near my navel ( apparently it was fat!) but lectured me ever so kindly that it was about time I had the colonoscopy that she had suggested the previous year. I felt I could talk to her and not be judged or dismissed. She is very professional in her dealings and seems to know the right specialists to send me to when I needed them

Dr.Boinest is the best I love her she is very professional in what she do she is very caring and concern about my health she takes the time she needs to make sure all of my medical needs are taken care.I am a new patient of her and I take her to be my doctor for life I am a 58 year woman. I feel like I have know her for years because she is like that.THE BEST DR.

Yes, Dr. Boinest IS as good as it gets; or rather, as great as it gets. I experienced a doctor who had a warm, friendly, welcoming bedside manner. She was personable, pleasant and professional. Not only that, she showed me she truly cared! She has been with me every step of the way with regard to several different health issues including depression, a hip replacement, anemia, and possible other health concerns that she skillfully tested for, Additionally, she referred me to Dr. Taylor, in rheumatology, who was superb.I needed the Hepatitis B series over a period of time, and she monitored that process. She is always quick to respond to my messages and calls me on the phone and talks me through test results with the ramifications and indications they present. She is great!!!Raleen
