What a horribly ran business and medical practice. This place would be out of business if there wasn't such a high demand and low supply for Gastroenterology in the DC area (and Arlington). They don't answer the phone and take forever to respond. They are still stuck in 2020 with their "telehealth due to COVID" and won't even see patients in person (seriously, its October 2022 and all other businesses ...
Jihyun Yoon is undoubtably the worst NP ( Nurse Practitioner) I have ever been in contact with in my 65 years on this earth. She is careless, uninformed & has the worst bedside manor. I’m writing this hoping I can alarm others before they wast their time. I have never been so rudely treated in a Doctors Office. She wasted roughly 90 days of my life with no help. Every time I went to my appointment it would be one thing after another delaying my recovery from Crohm’s disease. In my opinion Ms. Yoon has all the signs of being a Pathological Liar.
Dr. Kuperschmit is an outstanding physician! He never gives up until he has cured you!!!
Kuperschmit a top g
Dr. Diego Kuperschmit was so kind and helpful when I was diagnosed with cancer. I went to him to determine if it had spread. I’m very grateful for him and his expertise.
Kuperschmit is a piece of work. Aside from his month long waiting times, the only thing he's good at is getting patients to undergo an endoscopy and pocket some cash. He's not even good at endoscopies, as it was a pathologist who finally diagnosed me weeks later. After my endoscopy, he was dismissive of any more discussion, and basically treated me like a delusional hypochondriac. Once he realized that he'd made a mistake, he began lying to me about how long he'd been trying to get in touch with me about a diagnosis/further tests. Stay far away from Kuperschmit if you want to be treated like a person, and not like a piggy bank.

I just did my endoscopy with dr. Kuperschmidt and I’m so grateful to him and the staff. Very professional and very quick. I didn’t feel a thing.
He has always treated me with respect narrowed down to get to the problem even tho I'm a heart patient treats me with medication problems are minimal now I don't have any negativity i actually feels he great with me my visits my opinion ☺ ms jones
Dr. Kuperschmidt is very poor on patient care. He places administrative policy above customer (patient) service. I had an appointment and they requested my new insurance card prior to being seen. I have been seen by Dr. Kuperschmidt before and he had my insurance information previously on file. It seems that his office lost it when changing information systems. Instead of accepting that I would provide my insurance information after my appointment, Dr. Kuperschmidt gave me an ultimatum that I could only be seen as a self-pay patient. This inflexibility, along with the loss of insurance information they should have had on file, is proof that his is a poorly run practice only interested in money. Very sad. Anyone reading this, I strongly recommend that you please find a more patient-centered practice for your needs. You will be treated as nothing more than a number here.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
