The entire team at Virginia heart is friendly, courteous, and professional. Appointments run smoothly and efficiently. Dr. Howard is a fabulously trained cardiologist and his commitment to staying up-to-date with the most recent advances in his field are obvious. He has an ability to take highly complex concepts and data and turn all this into an understandable and actionable treatment plan. I feel very fortunate to have a cardiologist like Dr. Howard helping me navigate and optimize my health care plan.

Very professional cardiologist. He fully explained my heart cath procedure and possible risks beforehand and went over the results with me afterwards. He has a very good "bedside" manner. He and his team created a comfortable environment in the lab where the procedure was performed and I felt relatively at ease considering I was awake the entire time. This was my first experience with Dr. Howard and I would highly recommend him to other patients requiring similar procedures. I have been a cardio patient of Virginia Heart Group and it's predecessor the Cardiovascular Group since 1996. I've had to undergo several procedures performed by different members of that Group and found them all to be outstanding.

I am Boris Gurshman, 84, Falls Church, VA. Dates of service 01.12.21; 02.18.21 Dr. Edward Howard has completed twice Staged Per cutaneous Coronary Interventions - two stents in my body ( INOVA Hospital). I did not feel any discomfort at the time of procedures and any problems after. He is a very nice person and an excellent specialist. I recommend Dr. Howard to my friends.

I can not say enough good things about the care I have received from Dr. Howard at Virginia Heart. He has an excellent bedside manner. You can tell that he cares about his patients. He listens, and is never condescending. He is completely thorough in his examinations, explanations, and ultimate diagnosis. I know that I am in great hands, and I am grateful to have found such a skilled and competent physician. The person who referred him said he is the best, and that person was absolutely correct. He is the best, and he is surrounded by the best staff as well. The entire office is amazing. Every staff member I have encountered on my various visits has been professional, efficient and caring. I am not happy to need a specialist, but I am so grateful to have found such an amazing one.

Dr Howard is excellent. Virginia Heart (on Glebe Road) as a business is very patient-friendly and efficient, which is quite a change from the typical clinic experience where getting through to the physician can be a real hassle.
