I had a very good experience with Dr. Wertz. She was pleasant, knowledgeable and took care of my immediate issue in her office. I would not hesitate to recommend her.

Incredibly rude to my family member who is also a cancer patient.

Dr. Wertz is a fantastic physician. She is treating me for a motor vehicle accident injury and has helped me significantly. She took the time to patiently give me a thorough examination and my appointment was not rushed in any way. Her intuition was right on and her care has resulted in relief from months of constant pain. She went above and beyond to ensure my treatment would be approved by my health insurance. She (herself) called in to my insurance several times to do peer to peer reviews of my case fighting for my well being, and I can't thank her enough for all that she has done. She was able to relate to my musculoskeletal pain and provided me with confidence that I might once again live pain free. You are the best, Dr. Wertz! Thank you so very much. -Mike Reina

During my appointment I was fitted with a knee brace that doesn’t fit well and I’m being charged $92 for this $166 brace that the office assured me was covered by insurance. They declined to give me the box or a price when I asked before leaving. When I asked to return it upon receiving the bill, Jennifer at the front desk told me knee braces are NOT returnable like medication that doesn’t work. The only choice is to stop using it... No discussion of exchange for a better fitting brace and I was told I should’ve checked with insurance and returned to accept the brace if the terms were acceptable. Apparently, patients have no lives but to go back and forth to doctors offices on these matters. Poor fitting brace in spite of the many staff members to deal with insurance questions, brace fittings, etc. I wouldn’t return to this doctor or the practice after this type of treatment!! Shame on them. I’m having much better luck with $16 Amazon braces that are returnable, if needed.

Dr. Wertz treated my knee injury. She is great. First, she is very knowledgeable about her work, being able to answer all my questions or concerns related to my injury. Second, she is very patient and never tried to rush during my visit. That is very import to me. I know little about orthopedics and the injury made me concerned. Her patience and understand really calm me down and give me confidence in recovering. Plus, the facility was great. They are free valet parking, which is very considerate for orthopedic visits.

Dr Wertz is absolutely amazing!!! My daughter walked in sad and discouraged being from being in too much pain to participate in sports. Dr Wertz took so much time to talk and examine her. My daughter left there feeling like she had some answers and ideas to help. She commented "I feel like she can relate to what I'm going through and I can tell she really wants to help me". As a mom I can't thank her enough for the time, her compassion, and her expertise. We travel about 3 hours each appointment and Dr Wertz is beyond worth it.

Dr Wertz treated our daughter, who is a competitive gymnast, for a back injury. Superior INOVA support overall and she has an excellent ability to connect with patients. I recommend her highly and would not hesitate to go to her again!

Dr. Wertz is an outstanding doctor! She took great care of me and I couldn't be more grateful.

The GEHA website says Dr. Wertz does Family Practice, but when I called to her office, they said that Dr. Wertz does NOT do Family Medicine/Practice, but rather Sports Medicine. For Sports Medicine, she may be fine, but for Family Practice, don't go to her.

Dr Wertz treated our daughter for a back injury from competitive gymnasts. She did a great job connecting with her patient and was always available for questions. I recommend her highly and would not hesitate to go back to her.
