I very much appreciated Dr. Buchanan taking time to explain my injury, surgical procedure and after-care. I feel very comfortable and confident in him treating me.

I'm a very active 70 yr. old who likes to travel and hike.....a lot! So imagine my dismay as bunions on both, yes both, feet started to significantly impact my ability to mobilize. Yet within the span of this past year, Dr. Buchanan, through minimally invasive surgical techniques, has resolved both issues! Post-op discomfort after each procedure, for the first three days, was minimal (maybe a 2 on a scale of 1-10), and at no time did I feel a need for anything other than occasional, regular-strength ibuprofen. Four weeks after each procedure, I was up and walking the neighborhood in regular shoes. I cannot begin to adequately describe the impact Dr. Buchanan has had on my quality of life, but I'm trying really hard, right here, right now, because it's life-altering. And if you, the reader, are considering this procedure, "Run, don't walk to Dr. B's office!" I guarantee it'll be the best step you'll ever take! Deborah Davidson

Dr. Buchanan treated my son for a football related toe injury. He actually answered our phone call from the sideline after the injury occurred and made sure that his office worked us in to his already full schedule the next business day. Dr. Buchanan is a consummate medical professional. He is obviously an expert in his field, but his “bedside manner” and calm, reassuring tenor made my son much less nervous about the injury. I would recommend Dr. Buchanan to anyone with a foot or ankle injury! I relied on him to treat and care for one of our family’s two biggest treasures—our two sons! That should tell you enough about just how awesome Dr. Buchanan is as an orthopedic doctor!

Dr B is the bomb. I have been dealing with the effects of a herniated disc for over two years, and his care has literally been a life changer. He recommended and performed ankle surgery on me and allowed me to walk again without the use of a walker or cane. If you have an issue with your foot or ankle, and need medical attention, you can do no better than him.

I broke my ankle four months ago and recently found out I needed surgery after all. My husband and I went to Dr Buchanan for a second opinion. Thanks to Dr.Buchanan, my previous foot surgery which I did in India who was a illizarov renowned specialist surgeon had messed up my ankle, I lost my Arch, great toe was dislocated could walk bare foot ,but after almost 20 years I luckily found a doctor who is very honest, very good listener, very clearly he said how much I would be helpfull after the surgery and now it's been 6 months after surgery I got my ankle with arch my G.toe fixed and able to walk bare foot, I know I have to continue regular PT but I am so happy and I wish Dr.Buchanan and his family a blessed life.
