I do not recommend this physician.

Doctor Robert Mordkin Best urologist!!!!!Thank you for the good treatment.I recommend.

This practice fails to meet some of the most basic standards of care. I have a loved one who endured 5 stressful days of waiting for urgent test results, despite calling the office daily, only to learn the ordering physician was out of the office a few days and somehow didn't arrange for a on-call physician to notify her patient of the results. You can get better, more attentive care elsewhere in the DMV!

Dr. Mordkin was considerate enough to squeeze me in for a consultation between surgeries, eight days earlier than I could have seen him. He was apologetic that I had to wait, but I certainly had no issue with that. I never felt rushed, and he explained clearly the results of my MRI and the surgical procedure. His demeanor was caring and most pleasant, and he answered questions thoroughly. I wish there were more than five stars to recommend Dr. Mordkin!

Dr. Mordkin is a top notch Dr. I was diagnosed with stage IV kidney cancer and had to have my right kidney removed. He is extremely humble and cares so much for his patients. Any Dr. that is going to explain a CT scan with you and comes and sits on the same side of the desk as you rather than talking across the barrier of a desk only wants his patients to feel at ease. I am a large person so laparoscopic surgery is difficult, yet, Dr. Mordkin was able to remove my kidney via laparoscopic surgery without any issues. I was in the hospital less then 24 hours and only had Tylenol for pain. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Complications occurred during my surgery. A general surgeon was called in to repair things. Dr Mordkin was not very communicative afterwards. I will not be going back.

I highly recommend Dr. Robert Mordkin as one of the best Urologist in DMV area. I am more than satisfy with his professional services after having a prostate surgery and two small urethral surgeries with this prestigious Urologist.Recomiendo al Dr.Robert Mordkin como uno de los mejores Urólogos en el Area Metropolitana de Washington, Maryland y Virginia. Personalmente estoy mas que satisfecho con sus servicios profesionales luego de una cirugía de próstata , y dos pequeñas cirugías de urethra practicadas por este prestigioso Urologo. Arlington , Va. Dr Mordkin explains procedures and the need for such very well.

Dr. Mordkin has a very reassuring manner when meeting new patients. He has excellent 'people' skills, and spent time explaining all my options for future treatments. In order to get an accurate diagnosis for what was causing my elevated P.S.A. level, he did a D.N.A. blood test which confirmed the earlier results. Only then did he say I needed a prostate biopsy. He gave me confidence that I was in 'good hands' throughout my treatment regimen! It calmed any worries my family & friends had in a very stressful time! His assistant Iqra helped me plan for the biopsy, & was also a very caring person.

Dr. Mordkin is amazing.  I have had 5 kidney stones procedures within the past 1 1/2 years and both doctors from DC were unprofessional and uncaring.  Dr. Mordkin did an excellent job on a recent kidney stone procedure and I would highly recommend him to anyone.  He is very professional, caring and discusses all of the issues with you.  I can't thank him and the Virginia Hospital Center enoughfor all that they did for me.  Outstanding service by all. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
