Since my triple bypass they have kept up with medical changes and my prescriptions work wonders. From the 300's to the low 100's my hereditary cholesterol has been under control.

Had an excellent review of my echocardiogram

My husband was only twelve minutes late for his echocardiogram appointment due to a traffic accident on the roadway and a ten minute wait to get into their garage and park. It was the first time he has ever been late in his many years as a patient here. They cancelled his appointment. I was twenty minutes early for my appointment on the same day and they took me in immediately. Neither of the echocardiogram technicians would agree to fit my husband in after my appointment even though they were well ahead of schedule. The office staff tried but the technicians would not be persuaded. Ironically, the doctor made me wait in the exam room over 20 minutes to review my results. When informed that the wait would be at least another 10 minutes I chose to leave. Is a patient's time that much less valuable than the doctor's, than his staff's? The bright spot of the visit was nurse Jasmine who was kind, pleasant and informative. She demonstrated the type of understanding and respect that any patient deserves. The technicians should look to her example.

Arrived 15 mins prior to appt. Registered, waited in waiting rm, maybe 6 mins b4 RN came out & got me. Extremely nice staff. Weight secured. Placed in exam rm, answered order of questions. On to the ekg. Afterwards, I waited for Dr Berger, maybe 4 mins. Discussed what was happening in my life, as well as, health questions. Exam went very well. Rtn in 1yr. Dr Berger/Va Heart, I give 5 stars for excellent professionalism, bedside manners, easy talk-to & best in specialist! I highly recommend them!!!☆☆☆☆☆

My dad was admitted in this hospital for cardiology issue. There was a nurse in the ICU department name Tammy. She is Best. She represents this hospital very professional the way she take cares of her patients.
