List of Walter Qiang Wang's Reviews
Visit was complete with numerous tests. Included me in decision making for surgery and explained choices.
Second eye done six months later. Very pleased with both eyes and because the doctor was cautious and didn't push the second one quickly, I was super confident that I had at least one new good one under my belt. Thank you to Dr. Wang --- very lovely man and eye surgeon.
Similar experience had a hours of unnecessary test and was told use an eye drop. The doctor does not communicate with you just tell you to get an eye drops over the counter.
Technicians and staff were very attentive. Technician had me for one hour doing 4 different tests and asking tons of questions. I went there for eye strain and migraines. the “ Doctor” performed a couple of tests and he only said “ you are fine” come and see me in one year. I asked if he knew the reason of my visit. He said that I can get a reading prescription glass over the counter and use artificial drops. He could care less of what I was feeling as a patient and how to move forward with the headaches I am having. No answer back. Went to receptionist and asked for a full detail diagnosis, they told me I had to wait until Dr. Wang writes his notes. Totally disappointed and will formalize a complaint due to the lack of professionalism and respect to patients. I will have to make another appointment with an ophthalmologist that can have the decency to give me 10 minutes to explain me the reason of my eye strain, what to do and how to improve this condition. Feel free to contact me for more details. My date of appointment today July 27 at 10.30am
I like Dr Wang as a doctor but his front desk is destroying his practice. Every time my eye medication needs a renewal, his office cannot seem to get it right. And I mean for almost two years! I have told them repeatedly that I cannot use the generic drug but every time they send is as a renewal for the generic drug. Wouldn’t you think that the records show what I can and cannot use. This time, for two weeks I have been trying to renew my prescription and again they sent it wrong. (I use mail order) I told them I only had two days left and the only thing they can tell me is that the doctor will sign it when he can. I will find another doctor who has an office manager and front desk that is capable.
I give you one star because there is no 0 star. I have eye discharge since long time ago. When I went to him he said everything is okay with my eye. But still eye discharge is continuing and getting worse day by day... I am looking for an optomalogist to ve professional.
Dr Wang is a good doctor but his front desk is very unorganized. Every time I need to renew my eye medication it is total chaos. I use mail order. I cannot use generic, it can only be the brand drug. But, somehow they seem to check off generic and that I can use any other drug. Not true!!! This time I have been calling them for two weeks and I called today again and the office manager said whenever the doctor is free he will sign it. I told them that I only had one day left. She could care less. I will never go here again!
Do NOT see him if you have one or more chronic illnesses. He kept telling me I was perfectly fine even because his tests didn't show anything, even though I clearly still have eye pains and vision that has me concerned about driving. He didn't have any suggestions for me except that I should consider seeking a mental health specialist, I'm not even joking. He implied on multiple occasions that I was taking my life for granted. Clearly he doesn't know what it's like to be chronically ill. 0 stars
Caring doctor and staffs
Dr Wang is an excellent eye surgeon. He took time before and after the procedure to answer my questions and put me at ease. I would recommend him for cataract and glaucoma surgery.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
