The Receptionist was so kind and helpful. She went out of her way to copy my new insurance card for me to have. She calmed me down the when the system did not have my new insurance numbers and I did not bring my new card. She is a great asset to that office.

I have been going to Virginia Hospital Center for a long time, about 5 years since fully moving to the NOVA area. I had a family member need a new PCP after a bout with COVID, and I referred him to the same VHC office that I have my doctor. Since this doctor was accepting new patients, I figured Dr. Soriano would be a great fit.Do not go to Dr. Soriano. I have never watched a licensed medical professional act so egregiously in my entire life. She immediately disregarded all of the patients answers and solely relied on the chart for her diagnosis. She failed to ask open questions, rather asking questions that she already was answering. She refused to further have a conversation with the patient, even after hearing that he was in constant pain. When we asked for a referral, she said that there were no other doctors that could help someone "with no physical problems", even while reviewing his chart with multiple long term issues requiring care (GERD, GI issues, distressed breathing, decreased oxygen levels, stress and insomnia).If you value your time, your health, and your faith in the medical system, I recommend that you run the other way from Dr. Soriano. The other Doctors in VHC are wonderful, but they have clearly had some personnel issues in the last year to hire someone so ripe for a malpractice suit.

I was extremely impressed by this practice and Dr. Soriano. She was very competent and thorough. Everyone was so friendly—from front desk staff to the nurse and lab tech. The office is beautiful and clean. Glad a friend referred me to this practice.

Dr. Soriano made it her first point, when walking into our appointment to say "I have already spent 30 minutes of my busy day reviewing your chart and I have not found any issues with you". This is to say, I have never walked into a dr's office and felt more disrespected and ignored before in my life. She was rude, callous, and clearly had already made her mind up before speak even spoking with me. Her questions were clearly closed, and did not have any ability to develop her diagnosis based on speaking with the patient. I am shocked Virginia Hospital Center would employ someone who is so clearly unqualified to work in the medical field. I think it was at a disadvantage too, since the nurse before her was so kind, sweet, understanding - to have Dr. Soriano's poor attitude come in after was a whiplash of emotions. I left the appointment in tears and spoke with the office administrator directly before leaving, to provide her with the details on how poorly the appointment went.

Dr. Soriano was thorough, helpful and kind. I would recommend her to anyone.
