Dr. Gundu is the best in Nova area. I have hypothyroid. I am her patient over 7 years. She makes us feel comfortable to share all the things we are feeling physically and mentally. She is the expert in dose recommendation. She answers all the questions though my chart as well. She is extremely professional. I would highly recommend her for any endocrine needs.

Great staff, but she doesn't pay attention to you with anything basic (e.g. diabetes). She is literally checking emails while talking to you, and even asked me the same question twice because she wasn't paying attention. Zero preparation before the appointment (she reads notes during the appointment and gets some old info confused with current info). With a more interesting condition (e.g. kidney issues), she pays far more attention and pays attention. Therefore, your mileage with her will vary on your condition.

I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism in July by Dr Evangeline and was not happy. When she gave me that news and a written prescription for Levothyroxine I was in there for 10 minutes and I had already paid the $40 copay and a month later I got a bill for $157!!! Absolutely ridiculous!!! There were NO tests done, all she did was tell me I had a thyroid issue and gave me a written prescription....$157 for that?! Are you kidding me!?!? I have called billing and no one helps, I have called this office many times and no one ever answers so I’ve left many messages and no one gets back to me. What the heck?! Tara is very nice and sweet but good grief someone needs to get back to me ASAP. I cannot afford to pay $157 for absolutely nothing being done. I will continue to call them and fight on this ridiculous bill and will be finding another endo dr. Not wasting my money here and neither should anyone else.

Dr Gundu Rao and her wonderful staff are the best I have seen in my time living here for the past 20 years! Respectful, kind and professional. They listen to you and even reply to your email inquiries!

I wouldn’t normally rate a place when I haven’t seen the doctor BUT I was given excellent customer service by Tara. Not only was she extremely friendly and kind over the phone, but she was very helpful trying to get me in to see Dr. Gundu Rao. I ended up going with someone else whom I could see sooner, but the experience with Tara makes me wish I could come here!!

I so appreciate the low key and supportive way the doctor handles her patient. She is direct but explanatory as well as caring and smart. I hope to have her as my endocrinologist forever. I highly recommend Dr Gundu Rao.

As a new patient, I ended up not seeing this doctor. The first call I made to make a new patient appointment I was put into voicemail and never called back. When I called back to make an appointment the wait was six weeks out. I scheduled then was called by office staff and told it had to be moved because the doctor has decided to no longer work mornings, I rescheduled (pushed out another month). Today I was called and told I needed to change again for the already changed date. Poor office Staff

I have referred many people to Dr. Gundu Rao. I think she is a great doctor and very caring. She takes the time to listen to you, address your concerns, and involves you in developing your plan of care.

I would recommend this office very highly. The service of the doctors and nurses has been excellent.
