Timothy Mountcastle's Online Review Report Card

I am currently a patient of Dr. Mountcastle and give him the highest rating possible! First, he performed melanoma surgery on my leg which required treating my vein disease and then having a skin graft. I could not have been in better hands. I never remember having a doctor being available 24/7. He and his whole staff have been amazing! They are friendly, approachable, competent, and always available. Thank you, Dr. Mountcastle for your excellent care and for always being willing to explain the procedures and answer all my questions. I definitely will recommend you to others!

I needed breast reconstruction after a partial mastectomy and radiation however I am on medicaid and not many plastic surgeons are willing to forgo higher compensation and accept medicaid. Dr Mountcastle is the only physician in my area willing to do so. I have been to multiple other plastic surgeons and non of them matched the level of professionalism and caring displayed by Dr Mountcastle. I am also beyond thrilled with the results of my surgery. I honestly did not know it was even possible for my breasts to look this good after all they have been through. I will be forever grateful to this physician.

Do not go to him. He ruined my daughters breast reduction. I can’t warn you enough. He also ruined my friends liposuction. He thought he was doing the bigger side and he was on the smAller side the entire time until SHE asked why he wasn’t working on the bigger side. He is the worst!

Very Experience Doctor I recomends family and friends

I had a horrible experince with a breast reduction from his ability to staff follow up to my questions. The worst part is when I questioned teh outcome he made me feel stupid and that my concerns were invalid. He made me feel like I should be grateful for what he was able to do. I have since met with other sugeons who validated my concerns and are helping to repair my deformed nipples and teh contour of my breasts.

Prompt, courteous, respectful. You will always feel welcomed at the office by the staff. The nurses are extremely friendly and nice. Dr. Mountcastle is an excellent physician and I have been very pleased with the outcome of my varicose vein surgery.

Dont go here for a Breast Reduction!!! I had a breast reduction or I should say a breast disfigurement by this doctor. It was horrible, he doesnt know what he is doing on a reduction. My insurance isnt the greatest so there were not really any doctors that they would approve. He took our insurance, so that was a good thing and I appreciated this. However, I had to come out of pocket 12k to get a top plastic surgeon to do the reduction and to get my breasts back to normal after the horror that was done to them. My insurance wouldnt pay for a second surgery. I was a DDD trying to go to a C. The DDD were just not a fit for my body so my back was always in pain so I finally broke down and wanted them gone (im not a big girl). I should have known when he asked me what a C looked like. Im not trying to slander him, I only used him for this one thing, but it was horrible what he did to me. I dont want anyone else to go through this. I was in massive pain for 9 months before I could get a loan to get my breasts fixed and then had to do another operation. Lets put it this way...I had to have another operation and these are NOT fun...I was begging for another operation as I was in so much pain, I looked disfigured and looked like I had done it myself.

I was referred to Dr. Mountcastle by my personal doctor after a bad experience with another surgeon. I had a lipoma lump in my back close to my spine removed eight month earlier, only to have it begin to grow back within two months. So I scheduled the appointment with Dr Mountcastle, and from the moment I entered his office there was a much more personal and friendly treatment from his staff than I had experienced with the previous Doctor's office, and surprisingly, there was NO WAIT ! When I met Dr. Mountcastle, along with ability to explain the procedure and answer all questions thoroughly, his professionalism and confidence was reassuring and I must say he backed it up completely. While he was examining the lipoma, I mentioned that I had been severely burned as a child, and he asked to see the scars. He was extremely impressed with the work and the results. Then, at one point he asked me "do yo realize you have a hernia ? I was surprised but not shocked because in years past I experienced some intermittent pain in my stomach while lifting weights, but it usually subsided quickly. I felt very confident with Dr. Mountcastle, and scheduled both surgeries to be performed within a two week period. I could not be more pleased with the results. He used the same incision the last doctor had made for the lipoma, to avoid additional scarring. My comfort level throughout his procedure was immensely improved as compared to my last experience. He left NO visible scar in my navel from the hernia surgery, and did a fantastic job with that as well. I can honestly say that I would recommend Dr. Mountastle to my family and closest friends which speaks volumes. He obviously performs much more than cosmetic surgery, and when all is said and done, I know I could not have had a better doctor ! Thanks Dr. Mountcastle

Dr. Mountcastle is by far the best doctor I've used!!! I am very pleased with my results and he and his staff are great!! Use this doctor you won't regret it and you will want to refer everyone you know and care about!!!
