List of Yliana Acevedo's Reviews
The two girls at the front desk are incredibly rude and unhelpful, Dr. Acevedo is fantastic, listens carefully and is thorough with her advice, its a shame the admin staff almost makes you not want to come back
She is extremely aloof and has a terrible bedside manner. She has a “cannot be bothered” attitude. She has misdiagnosed me multiple times. The worst case was when I went in for a large lump in front of my ear. She said it was a swollen lymph node and told me to rest. I stated that the lump was clearly not a lymph node and has been getting larger for many months. She refused to evaluate it further. ...
Dr Acevedo is great when you get a chance to see her in person, caring and knowledgeable. Her Staff, however, especially her office manager are the worse I have ever experienced from any family practice office. Whenever you call to schedule an appointment for prescription refill or request to be called back by a nurse to discuss your concern, You get some young office staff member who must read from a script only to tell you someone will call you back. They never do! thus requiring you to call them back several times only to hear the same thing. They do NOT follow through with calling you back or alerting you that you are due a prescription. I have most prescriptions filled by Express scripts. When my prescription is due to be refilled Express Scripts notifies me via email. Dr Acevedo's office does not. On half a dozen occasions. Express Scripts will contact Dr Acevedo's office requesting permission to refill the prescription. Each time Express scripts request is turned down and told I have to see the Dr for refill. NO ONE from Dr Acevedo's office calls me to inform me that I need to come in and see the Dr to get the prescription refilled. This is life threatening medication if not taken. Most people who cared about their patients would consider this important, apparently not her staff. The same goes for referrals. Good Luck getting them from her office manager. She tells you to find a Dr to go to then you call to tell them and again told someone will call you back, Again they never do. Is your referral approved, who knows. Was it turned down, who knows. Do i have to come pick it up in person, who knows. What kind of office manager does not have her staff call patients back especially if the referral is to take care of a life threatening issue. I would Not Recommend this office or practice to anyone unless you are savvy enough to get things done on your own.
Dr. Acevedo and her staff are professional and kind. Of all doctors, the primary care physician is the most important because they are the very center of the spokes of the wheel of your health care. I went to several practices after moving here 2 years ago and am happy to have found Dr. Acevedo and her staff to care for me and my family.
I was very disappointed in the level of service I received from Dr. Acevedo. Not only did she not explain anything in regards to my overall health, but promised a in-depth blood test that basically was useless and certainly NOT in-depth. It’s a shame that we have to pay medical providers who aren’t willing to help their clients. I will not be returning and will let my friends know not to schedule an appointment here EVER.
Dr. Acevedo listens carefully to all your concerns and gives ample time. Office management including nurses are terrible. Had to call multiple times to get my lab results which they had on file and just had to release to me. The results were on file for a week and signed off on by the doctor but the nurse did not bother to call me with them.
Very good family Doctor and very nice. My family have been treated by her for over 4 years now but only for non emergency things. Now if you are very ill you should go to the emergency room for them to run all kind of tests and possibly get you in a room to monitor your health.
My family have been with Doctor Acevedo for more than 4 years and we have had a great experience all the time.Great Doctor and very easy to talk person. She always gives explanations and advice.
If you want probiotics and honey instead of medicina she is the one to go. I was very ill and she told me to take probiotics and honey next day I was in the emergency room and my heart was 147. Awful doctor.
Things seemed well while at the doctor. She gave me a medication, that I had a severe reaction to and rather then prescribing something new she told me that the reaction I was having was not related to the medicine. And that there were only 4 reactions that the medication has...Now I called her to refill my prescription and she is demanding I come in to see her in order to get a refill, less than 3 months later. What is the point in seeing a doctor for an annual if I have to keep going back.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
