Dr Hayek is very attentive and listens well. He explained “how” to prevent future problems and was very compassionate. The only patients in the nursing home my Mom went to that did not seem to like him were those seeking more narcotics and angry families looking for someone to blame. I wish he had his own practice, only sees patients in nursing homes.

He listens to your whole complain and he does an excellent assessment (actually did a proper cardiac exam! ) being a 30+ year nurse working with some of the best cardiac surgeons in the nation, I know. I admired the time and respect he took to diagnose then plan a treatment WITH my father that he would follow. My father is feeling better than he felt in his 60's!

Dr. Hayek took care of my young father who is 75 years in actual age. My father speaks slowly & Dr. Hayek took the time to listen to all of his complaints & helped him to understand what he needed to do for his health to improve. My independent father told Doctor Hayek what he was willing to do. At this time, I expected the doctor to throw up his hands and leave but not Doctor Hayek, he gave my father additional information & then they made a plan together. He was very knowledgeable.

Dr. Hayek was very personable. He took the time to listen to my complaints, and asked questions that brought out additional details that other physicians had overlooked. He followed up to ensure that the plan of care that he developed with me actually took care of my complaints.
