I visited Dr. Hurd for an allergic reaction I had which I thought was going away but it was not. In one visit with Dr. Hurd, he checked it under microscope and correctly diagnosed the problem and in few days I was completely healed. He is the best Dermatologist I know and we are extremely fortunate that he is part of the Blacksburg community. He is very professional, genuine, knowledgeable, and healer with great attitude of service! Thank you for who you are and what you do. You are a wonderful human being and a phenomenal dermatologist. I had a procedure done on a Friday, and an unexpected allergic reaction to the dressing on Saturday, and they don't have voicemail or an answering service or a nursing line. By the time I called on Monday, the magnitude of the reaction had gotten much worse. Nobody ever bothered to follow up to see how I was doing after that. I ended up having to go to urgent care to get a course of steroids to calm it down. I don't feel cared for. I shouldn't have needed to outsource follow up care like that.
