List of Community Radiology Of Virginia's Reviews
I saved a lot of money by going here. It's cheaper than the copay on my insurance.I didn't see anything negative nor rude about anyone who worked there.
Having heard imaging centers were more cost effective, I chose this place instead of a hospital, seeking to save money. Called to get directions while in the area and no one answered the phone. Orthopedic specialist Palmer reads radiologists himself, the referral from Misty Lawson said. Had to reschedule 2 other times. Guess paralyzed fear since no MRI imaging has been done yet.
The people performing the test were very nice and professional. The lady with long hair at the front desk wasn’t. I came to the window and she said I need your I’d. No hello. She said fill out this form. I asked her how she was today and she said I”you need you to fill out the form. I then asked her name. She said You need to fill out the form. I returned the form and told her she was rude, and would she like to start over. She said she doesn’t give her name. First name? She was very rude, disrespectful, and it was very disturbing. Maybe she should be an accountant. I’ll be speaking with a manager if I can ever get through on the phone.
I had went there to get and MRI. That was the BEST EXPERIENCE that I have ever had! I am VERY CLAUSTROPHOBIC!! This machine is OPENED ALL AROUND. It is NO TUNNEL. I was able to go in it without any Claustrophobia at all. It was wonderful! I was so worried and concerned. They have the BEST MRI MACHINE EVER!! To ALL Claustrophobia people, this is the machine you want to go in! The Claustrophobia fear goes away. The PRICE IS SUPERB!! I had paid out of pocket. I ONLY PAID $500 just for an MRI at this place. Where at a hospital it is thousands of dollars.I recommend this place for all MRIs. It is the most affordable. It is the most comfortable and relaxing MRI machine that there is. It was well worth it.
I’m a Physician Assistant that has sent many of my patients to community Radiology. I’m in no way affiliated with Community Radiology and my only motive for writing this review is to strongly dispute these negative reviews.A lot of my patients have no insurance and Community Radiology’s cash price is lower than the local hospitals copay price to patients who have insurance. Yes that’s right....the total cash price at Community Radiology is less than the hospital’s insurance COPAY price. And Community Radiology’s price includes the reading from the Radiologist’s which everyone knows is always a separate charge anywhere else. I can not say enough about this valuable and affordable resource to this rural area. The staff is great. They are professional , kind, schedule quickly and really care about the community and work with low income patients better than anyone I’ve ever seen.Lastly, according to three different surgeons ( also not in anyway affiliated with Community Radiology ) that I’ve shared mutual patient care, Community Radiology’s imaging is superior in quality especially their MRIs of the spine. One neurosurgeon told me, and I quote....”I immediately knew the MRI study COULD NOT have been done by the hospital I perform my surgeries because of the far superior quality images.” End quote.
Make sure you call first if your just dropping in for an x-ray. Sometimes they don't have an x-ray technician working that can do x rays. Lol I swear!!!
very rude over the phone. I called to get an MRI scheduled and the lady answered the phone with a very bad attitude and i was also was cut off mid conversation by the same lady just to be transferred to someone else. Don't even want to waste my time going there now

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
