Dr. Murphy is a wonderful doctor! He is very caring, attentive and knowledgeable. He is not the one who will prescribe your child some meds just to get rid of you when he/she doesn’t need it. He actually care for your child’s health, that’s rare nowadays! Very good easy to schedule wellness visits and the same/next day sick visits. Highly recommend.

Stay away from this doctor as an allergist. After much research and getting not only a second, but third opinion, it is very clear he does not keep up to date on his literature.

We've been coming to Dr Murphy for years. He cares about our kids and it shows. Unlike other Doctor offices he will always find a way to fit you in and we as parents truly appreciate that.

I wish I could give 10 Stars! As a young mother I will never forget the care we received from Dr. Murphy. My daughter is grown up now and is a Nurse. When she was a teen, Dr. Murphy helped us navigate through some very difficult issues. Thank you!!!

Dr. Murphy, and the whole office in general, is amazing. Very knowledgeable and great care. He identified a problem with my infant very quickly and personally called the hospital to set him up with the right surgeon the same day we took him in. Highly recommended!

Our children are now grown but Dr. Murphy and Dr. Staats were their pediatricians until they got to college. Wonderful and very busy practice. Both doctors take time with their patients and parents ensuring that everything is understood. Staff is warm, efficient and knowledgeable. The nurses are amazing too! We were listened to, counseled well and treated with affection and respect. All around great care!

We have been so grateful for Dr. Murphy’s thoroughness, expertise and kindness. Our son has been going to him since he was a newborn and he remembers him at each appointment. We love the “small town” feel in this very professional dr office. It is hard to find such a place in Fairfax, VA.
