List of Lance Lasner's Reviews
For the past couple years, I've been battling reoccurring and debilitating symptoms that I have been trying to get diagnosed. I visited Dr Lasner on the recommendation of another doctor that I follow up with a different gastro to get a second opinion. I have a complicated medical background and have been rigorously tested via several other doctors regarding these issues. I made sure to be clear about this when scheduling the appointment, provided related lab results, and even a spreadsheet summarizing those contents. Scheduling was a bit difficult, but ultimately not a concern. My biggest complaint is with Dr Lasner himself. I don't believe I've ever had an appointment where I've felt so dismissed and disrespected. It was immediately clear that he did not bother to read anything regarding my medical history or labs provided as part of the new patient process. His initial attitude was nice enough, but as soon as I began repeating my symptoms his first reaction was annoyance and questioning why I was seeing him for this. After explaining how other doctors felt that my previous gastro complications could be related, I managed to direct him to the latest labs. He barely glanced through them, disregarded them, and then ordered the same labs again. He clearly had no idea what was wrong with me, and at one point even said "What can you do" as if I should learn to live with these issues. Afterwards he proclaimed I needed to switch to a Vegan diet without providing any explanation and treating it as if it was as easy as flipping a switch. His only response to my concern regarding such a drastic lifestyle change, and potential conflicts with other dietary restrictions, was "Well I do it". This was all in the span of a short 15 minute appointment, with Dr. Lasner clearly having no intention of exceeding. I know that no one has all the answers and I had no expectation of a quick resolution to what has stumped many other doctors, but the flippant responses and general disinterest with anything I had to say was insulting and demoralizing. He might be a good doctor for regular checkups and standard issues, but I would recommend anyone with any sort of complication to steer clear.
Dr. Lasner is Very experienced and polite.
Consistently a pleasant experience. Dr. Lasner takes his time and appointments are punctual. I wish this could be my doctor for all medical needs!
They charged me for a missed telephone appointment that I did not receive a call on my cell phone. Have no empathy and consideration to the patient’s work schedule or his availability. Unfortunately the anesthesia affiliate seems overly cautious unnecessarily making it complicated, although endoscopy is done under mild sedation, it’s not major surgery for long hours under general anesthesia.
Great doctor. He did my endoscopy and explained the results very well. I highly recommend him.
Dr. Lasner & his team are amazing! They're always kind & personalble - I've never had a long wait for any appts & my procedures have always been thorough, but painless.
I use to really trust in Dr. Lasner approach and medical guidance. However, his front office is rude and has no clue what they are doing. During my scheduled colonoscopy I signed in as per their process. While I was in the waiting room to be called in, my phone rang. It was the front desk woman who I signed in with asking me if I was showing up for my procedure, I responded Yes...I'm actually looking at you from the waiting area. WOW!!! Now, I have a refill of my medicine due and his office declined it because they told my pharmacist I've not been in the office for 3 years. My colonoscopy I mentioned above was 5 months ago. I'm nervous Dr. Lasner just isn't as good anymore since his new office space/team. He does prescribe a lot of medication, seems to be his answer to everything is to attack it with everything you got. Dr. Lasner and his office seem more focused on making sure money is coming in rapidly than how their clients are doing and feeling. Shame, he use to be good but now it seems like a money game to him.
What happened to him. Didn't answer calls or return messages.
I have had my share of doctors in my life and never have I had a doctor to truly engage with me concerning my situation. He genuinely cares about his patients. All doctors should strive to the level Dr. Lasner does with his patients. Thank you for actually listening and working with me Dr Lasner. You are the best!
I had a great experience with Dr Lanser and the office for a colonoscopy. I thought they were all professional and I got a colonoscopy within a month after calling for an appointment. Frankly if you're healthy and getting a colonoscopy the only difficult part is the prep. Once you arrive it's done relatively quickly. I'll use Dr Lasner for my next colonoscopy in 10 years.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
