Catherine M Pipan Md's Online Review Report Card

I have been trying to call and schedule an appointment for the past 2 months and I keep getting told that all agents are busy. I stay waiting for an hour and no one answers. When I request a call back, someone calls and doesn't speak. I have not been able to see Dr. Pipan who has been my primary care for 7 years due to this sloppy scheduling service.

Dr. Pipan is the best. She takes the time to go over your health history in detail and really listens to your concerns, answering questions so you fully understand everything. She’s also quick to diagnose and treat her patients. I cannot say enough good things about her. She really cares about her patients and always makes you feel apart of health care decisions.

Our whole family sees Dr. Pipan. She thinks a little faster than the rest of us and has a great laugh. So she might seem a little quirky when you first meet her. She's just fabulous, though! She is exceptional -- very smart, very clear in explaining how things work, treats all questions as thoroughly as you would hope, never dismissive. She communicates in a thoughtful and caring way at all times. She does personal follow up phone calls! I've never had a physician do that before. I always feel that she is thinking about how to make sure my concerns are addressed and that I will feel better after leaving her office.

I have been seeing Dr .Pipan for a few years and like her very much. She takes her time and listens to my concerns. She follows up quickly with results from tests The staff is very nice, it is easy to get an appointment. Dr.referred me to a specialist and due to crazy circumstances I didn't make an appointment. A reminder was sent and then she called me to follow-up and see what the hold-up was. I was impressed by her follow through. I would highly recommend her to my family and friends.

I've been a patient of Dr.Pipan's for over 10 years. She also treated my mother for a short time. Very professional, patient, kind, and well informed on all medications. I trust her decisions and advice when she is able to provide it. When my 24 year old son needed a Dr., I highly recommended Dr. Pipan. She's the best!

I've been seeing Dr. Pipan for almost 7 years. My mom, my dad, and my wife all see Dr. Catherine Pipan. She's an amazing physician. She used to work at heritage family practice and now transferred over to INOVA Dulles South in South Riding, Virginia. She is one of the most wonderful doctors in the area and I highly recommend anybody and everybody to her. She always takes her time with my family an myself. Dr Pipan just kept on experimenting with my wife. She was not able to diagnose her problem and kept sending her to various lab tests with proved to be of no use. Wait time at her office is extremely long. She lacks expertise and knowledge in her profession and works mainly on hit and trial methodology. I would not recommend her.

Dr Pipan goes well beyond the average doctor in the care she offers her patients. She spends as much time with each patient as needed for each visit and always follows through with a phone call if necessary. She always listens to what the patient has to say without rushing them, so if one has to wait a little longer to be seen one can understand why. An "A" rated doctor in our opinion.
