I highly, highly recommend Dr. Jefferies. She was informative, not rushed, and made my visit comfortable.

Had questions since I'm past menopause. Dr. Jefferies was extremely informative, took her time with me, and did not leave until I said i was satisfied with our visit. I really recommend her.

Dr Jefferies, made me feel extremely uncomfortable about my weight. My weight gain was a concern that I wanted to talk to her about and she made me feel bad about my weight and extremely uncomfortable about my body. She also disregarded my honestly concern of having a miscarriage and instead proceeded to talk about my weight (which I understand can be a factor of miscarriage, however, I was trying to discuss based on past medical history). Overall, I left the office upset and ashamed of my body and not wanting to be seen by a doctor again. I have never had this issue with the 3 other CWC providers I've seen, they have all been welcoming and willing to talk with me, I just wish Dr. Jeffries would have treated me the same.

She's one of those that the Dr's/her time is the most important thing and patients should wait for her to show up forever because she doesn't care about our time. Rude, unprofessional and don't think he really cares about patients.

Dr. Jeffries was kind, gentle and willing to take the time to answer all of my questions. She’s very personable but also very professional.

I visited Dr. Jefferies at the recommendation of an older relative who had nothing but positive experience with her. Unfortunately my experiences with her were poor overall. I asked about using an IUD as my birth control as I was struggling with BCP and other methods of birth control. Dr. Jefferies would not consider giving me an IUD unless I had been with my partner for over a year, because I could get an STI that would impact my future fertility. While I appreciate considering the risks of different types of birth control, I felt profiled because I was a young college student and did not feel the explanation stood up to scrutiny. I expressed that I didn't have multiple partners and wasn't interested in doing so in the future, and would get tested if I switched partners to reduce my risks of contracting an STI. At a later visit, Dr. Jefferies also performed an STI test after I explicitly asked her not to do so. Dr. Jefferies had a pleasant demeanor and was always punctual but I can't shake the feeling that I was "slut shamed" just because of my age. In general, I don't think she conducted herself appropriately or ethically when providing me care and I would not recommend her to others.

She’s very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend her and the rest of the team at Capital Women’s care in Oakton.

Dr. Jefferies was very thorough in my first visit with her and listened intently to my concerns.
